Great 777 Video

Recommended Posts

The 777 flight controls are extremely powerful. Obviously the momentum arm on a long wing adds alot of grunt as well. Personally I don't find the aircraft 'twitchy' in flight at all.

Constant, small corrections are all that's needed. Crosswind landings are far, far easier in this beastie than in the Airbus.

The 300ER does tend to wobble a bit in turbulence mind you. Especially noticeable 'down the back'. The final approach is into Kuwait which has a vert hot, very 'thermally' approach in the summer, hence the wheel movements. (Took full reverse as well, probably to prevent the brakes cooking!)

First line-up in the video is onto 27R at LHR by the way.

Downroute at the mo. 12:00 flight back tomorrow on a -300.

Oh that is just not fair. During the last weeks and months I really thought I'm okay with the waiting... But that?! Damn dude. I want the 777 soo bad now.

Found this video too - I'm confused whether it's from a DVD; but I don't remember a 77W DVD with these shots from the bigger flight deck video producers such as Just Planes - however it could be theirs.
