Airbus X Extended release ?

Featured Replies

No. It won't be released until they've solved the problems they are having with it which could be months yet. That site is lying its pants off. And for sure it won't be released in a boxed edition until weeks after the download edition is. Avsim should blacklist them. This is just disgraceful.

It's being discussed on the Aerosoft Airbus X Extended preview thread:

This software program has had so many launches it should be a ship!!! By now it would have sunk which I regret it has. Pre-ordered in October 2011 for the supposed launch of November 19th.2011, after that it was February,April, August.......and so it went on. I'm afraid it wont be part of my library ever!

It will be released when it's released. Why not just wait?

Cracked me up! Haha

Umm....it'll be released soon. The devs are trying to iron out 3 major issues before releasing to the public.

Chris Ferguson

PC Specs(Rebuilt 1/11/19): i7-9700K - Non-OC'd, EVGA RTX 2080ti, G.Skillz 16GB Ram 3000mhz, EVGA SuperNOVA 1000w PSU, Cooler Master ML360R, ASRock Phantom Gaming 4 MoBo, 2x 2TB HDD, 1x 1TB Samsung EVO SSD, 1x 220GB WD SSD

By the time this thing gets released, I am going to guess that the PMDG 777, FSLabs A320, PMDG 747 Redux and Maddog 2014 will have been released. Aerosoft kind of brought this all on themselves for continually releasing soft dates and putting up "preview" images.

It will be released when it's released. Why not just wait?

LOL. It took Duke Nukem 14 years to come out (they said the same-- it will be released when it's released). 14 years. Imagine having a baby and the release doesn't happen until they are a freshman in high school.

Personally, I don't quite see the purpose of all these preview images by the beta testers - seems like they're just rubbing salt in the wounds of the folks who are desperate to hold of a copy of the final product...

LOL I think it's because everyone over at those forums just keeps on begging for them - it's like a drug to tide them over =). Keeps people interested too I guess which is good since it looks like we will be in this for the long haul.

Forgive my off-topic comment but that's just such an incredible example of failed project management. And when it was finally released it was completely mediocre. Someone must have lost a head for that in the end.

I'm shooting for the Spring.

 I thought those words sounded familiar. If there was a FSX bible that would be one of the commandments.

Kind Regards

Simon.
