FlyTampa's Montreal & Toronto?!?!?!

I'm also hoping that extra dot is CYTZ, but I suspect it would be CYYZ with aerosoft. Seems it would be the more logical choice for a revenue generating addon. But then again, who knows. It's all speculation.

I'm well aware of SimAddons version of it. A while ago I gave in and bought the SimAddons Halifax, but I've never been back because I can't get it to perform well; 10-15fps. If they're the only one's with CYTZ when the Majestic Dash-8 is released, I will probably by it.

I am wondering if this is a glitch somehow. Look at Seattle. That dot should be gray (as in FS2004 only), but clearly isn't.

That can't be a glitch. That's a really precise line of bad code if it is.

Mhhhmmm Still nothing ;( I wish they would at least give us an update.....

Boy oh boy, this is shaping up to be a good year for Canadian simmers. It would be heaven on earth to have a FT YYZ.

I really hope this is true. YYZ is probably the most important airport in Canada. Although I enjoy the freeware one from DiFranco, it's a bit too FPS hungry and of course is FS9 native.

Simaddons will be releasing Calgary and Edmonton very soon and they both look awesome.

I agree, SimAddons is a great little project. The quality is actually very nice. The fact that they focus solely on Canada is great, since it seems like most of the developers ignore Canada. Just curious where you've seen the announcement for Edmonton? I've heard about Calgary (can't wait for it btw; home base ^_^) but it seems the information for Calgary has been off of their website for quite some time.

Did CanUK ever get their FSX version of CYYC out? I have their FS9 version and it was pretty well dead on.

They have an FSX update there but it does not work with ORBX. Adam Bentley had a baby (and another since) so time is no longer on his side.

As well the airport is a little frame hungry although very accurate. The SimAddons version will have jetway support and the new runway, tower, and terminal.

The Pacific Northwest is alot more susceptible to OOMS and beating up on FPS because of all the extreme drawing that has to take place. All the coastlines all the mountains take alot of power and memory. The combination together is what causes problems for people if you dont tone down the settings. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa is flat as a pancake with few exceptions. Lake Ontario has coastline, but again its no where near as rugged and there is no extreme mountains nearby.

Dubai is flat although with an extreme building density still doesnt cause OOMs from what I read.

These are just my observations flying around KSEA and CYVR relative to a fairly flat place like FSDT KORD. Have a look at your VAS. This is why the default KSEA is so taxing on the system.

OMG!!! Did you see the screenshots?!?!?! AMAZING!!!

That does look fantastic, but still no DX10 support, looks like there never will be. It runs and looks much better than DX9 after the mods and tweaks. Being Canadian, and about 2 hours flight from Montreal I guess I'll have to get my fix somewhere else, too bad.

My poor KBOS and KBUF are collecting dust as well, can't go back to DX9, no way, please nooooo.

Third line of that post:"This is our first Canadian airport & maybe we can do more in the future.."

Please be a hint at Toronto!!!!!!! :O

Yes, that extra grey dot near Toronto that goes red just after YUL. The enigma continues...

Looks great...just how good are Fly Tampa's airports on frames?

First time buyer... :P

Very good on my system :)

It's out now!

Now, if only we'd get some more fuel for the Toronto fire...
