Featured Replies

Do you really think that 777-200 is a 737BBJ?

No.

No he talked about the plane in the back.

Yes, but I am not positive, hence the "I believe . . . ."

Congratulations!

I believe the B737 BBJ and B747 V2 are shown in this recent screen shot.

haha that's just a static B744 model... you can tell by the low poly's.

I thought it was the in-development PMDG B747 V2, especially considering the circumstances surrounding the release of the screen shot and the detailed rivet patterns, etc. I would be embarrassed, though, if it turned out to be a random static B747 from the fire brigade training section of some payware airport. . . .

Just look at the nose, the lack of detail on the wing and engines, the tailcone,...

This is not going to be the 747v2.

As I suggested, it is difficult not to notice the non-complex polygons, but my initial interpretation of the screen shot differed from that of Ryan. I initially thought "maybe aircraft look like this in early development, before any polishing is performed", but because of my lack of knowledge about add-on development, I'm going to trust you guys.

Well now that the 777 is out, how has the 747 v2 been going?

Well now that the 777 is out, how has the 747 v2 been going?

Focus lies on the development of SP1 for T7 and -300.

Everything else is speculation.

LOL - epic dredge but a good Q - what's happened to B744 V2? There is nothing on the forums - no discussions, no excitement, nothing......

A year ago it was 50% complete? Perhaps PMDG canned this one altogether?

It's definitely in development, I think PMDG has been rather busy with the 777 lately.

How is it ridiculous? It's not been more than couple of months since the last release...

On account of this post - selectively quoted for brevity, though the whole post is noted - I will be taking the day off.  My job is done here, thanks to Trent.
