The PSS Airbus series ... Did Graham do the FMC in those aircraft? I don't recall it, the FMC being why I bought the Wilco 767. I simply wanted to understand what an FMC is capable of as well as how to program it.

From my (German JF) manual (translation is mine):

- gauge-programming: Alex Bashkatov

What happened to AVSIM

72-600 would be great! a longer fuselage and range.. one thing that I love the most is the fuselage looks well fitted. Thanks for the pic, is the first picture taken from FSX?

Both pics were from FSX.

The Q400 looks sweet....

I have to agree with most of the above opinions. The Flight 1 ATR-72, although a relatively old product, remains in my opinion also one of the best airliners ever produced for FS9. It is still my favourite turboprop airliner to fly and can be flown by the book if you are in a system-flying frame of mind or you can just jump in and fly it if that is what you prefer. There is an even older version of the ATR-72 (and ATR-42) produced by Aerosoft under the Eurowings Professional title for FS2002 and FS2004, although I don't know if it is still available. It too was an excellent product especially when one considers it was originally developed for FS2002, but I have to say I have replaced the Aerosoft ATR-72 with the Flight 1 version which is superb! I still use the Aerosoft ATR-42 from time to time though and it is still a good aircraft in FS9.

Is Alex Bashkatov the Alex that now works for PMDG?

In my opinion, Flight 1 ATR and Level D 767 are two of the best aircraft addons ever developed for Fs9. I kept Fs9 around long after switching over to FSX primarily because of that aircraft. In short, yes I feel its worth the price.

No i would not buy. It never had A tutorial released for it and no support

Are you referring to the Flight1 ATR? If so, I definitely disagree. There was/is a tutorial  flight with custom weather, a comprehensive manual and a support forum which may no longer be particularly active but let's face it, the product has been on the market for more than six years... Whether you recommend it or not is a subjective matter. But the reasons you give for not recommending it don't seem to be based in reality IMO

Is there any chance that this ATR is going to get a redo?

I could see them maybe giving it a facelift, but they'd probably just do it for FSX. Overall I think it's unlikely, but what do I know?

I have to say that, taking thr trouble to learn how to fly the Majestic Dash 8 has given me a new perspective on this one and I am now enjoying flying it more than before.
