Since they don't set a release date, there isn't and can't be any delay.

A question which interests me a long time.

Does the animation of the flap settings (from up to 15 for example) takes as long as in the real world?

And are the gear up and down animations also like the real counterpart?

Hey Robert! Maybe this could be of help for you : http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_engines_does_a_Boeing_777_have

I'd like for you guys to settle on a model once and for all, everytime I have the money to go on holidays I go to the airport to by a ticket for PMDG airlines they say it does not exist. Then I go check back on your website and it turns out you decided to change the model for your fleet. I like you guys very much but doesn't it seems 15 years enough to make up your minds?  I'm getting old you know.. My pension will not allow for holidays far away!

...

Now.. Seriously : Is the present anywhere near the picture you had in your mind 15 years ago about what you wanted/planned/expected PMDG to become in the future?

I personally think you ought to be proud, really proud, of what you have achieved.

Congratulations on raising the bar yet again!

If the B744 and the NGX is anything to go by, the answer to this would be YES!

Kind regards

FANTASTIC,  PMDG

So excited and happy to see flightsimulation progress at such speed, having a state of the Art fly by wire boeing triple 7 that is going to put the ngx to shame, now that's progress.  I hope the frame rates are equal or better, well I guess it is time to go to AOA and purchase the Training Package,  we are finally upgrading from the 737ngx to the triple seven, ready to see the world on this long haul beauty, hope we can make triple digit virtual salary, cause real aviation pilots are making diddly squat now day's.   if it's not a Boeing we aint going.

Hi Randazzo,

do you remember our discussion about the weather-radar a few month ago?

Then please take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddXWqu-mK-U#t=15

And a look at this: http://www.hifitechinc.com/news/74-ifly-737-asn-radar

Taking your words into consideration, that is what I call: Pride comes before a fall.

Let's repeat this once more... A cloud map is NOT the same as a radar return.

Andre-

Generally speaking, I recommend getting caught up on the state of things before you bloviate in our forum.

Take a read here- as others have done:

http://forum.avsim.net/topic/421144-can-pmdg-work-with-hifi-to-bring-us-a-working-weather-radar/page-4?p=2859228#entry2859228

You will also perhaps benefit by noticing that in the thread, a forum user wondered if/how ASN's innovation might change our stance on the long-standing issue of weather radar.  He asked the question....  You know- as in a conversation between two mature adults?  Pay attention to the technique- you might learn something.

You will note that my answer here predated our seeing ASN's release- but I have also commented since then that we are working with it and evaluating how we can use that data to create an actual simulation of radar.

I realize it isn't convenient for you to recognize- but as a professional deveopment house- it is important that we EVALUATE new data and techniques before we make a decision as to whether it adequately solves the problems latent to FSX.

You can read my remarks there- and we will be happy to answer any questions you have- but remember:  Self Education goes before Making an a&& of yourself in a public forum.
