In answer to your question regards the bus coming at gates with jetways. GSX is highly configurable.

Under normal conditions, GSX will not display a Bus on a parking with a jetway, and it does that automatically, without having to configure the parking.

However, if GSX is used on a 3rd party airport that do not have proper FSX jetways, they can't be detected automatically (they don't really exists as jetways), the "Parking has a jetway" option will have to be set manually.

GSX is highly configurable.  You just need to customise the gate through the GSX menu system that's located within FSX.  Just deselect the bus in the option screen for the gate you're parked at.

Yes, that option can be used too, but it's not really meant to disable the Bus on a parking with static jetways because, in that case, it would be best to use the "Parking has a jetway", which will disable BOTH the Bus AND the passenger front/mid stairs.

The option to disable the Bus separately, is there to cover the situation of a parking in the open apron, which is too close to the terminal entrance that it wouldn't make sense to have a bus, and passengers would simply walk there, which is quite common at smaller airports. In this case, only the Bus would be disabled, leaving the stairs there.

I couldn't possibly say Dave ;)

Let's just a few hours sat in front of FSX with a real Q400 jockey looking over my shoulder showed JUST how much I didn't know...

Give us a month or so and all will be revealed.

I am going to finally try GSX after reading this, I've not been too happy with AES recently as I've run out of credits and I'm a bit bored with it plus you have to pay extra just to use the exact same thing at another airport which is annoying.

By far GSX...

Me too, exactly the same feeling, I mostly need GS for a proper pushback though. Well, off to get GSX :)

Where can we get replacement voices?

Does the replacement voices include the passengers "hello's" - because that is pretty annoying!

I did get stuttering when it was pushing back.

I will "kill" those sounds in GSX, FSCaptain has better soundset for boarding, and I customised it. I really hate when 2 addons are in conflict with the sounds, for instance when both addons have boarding sounds.

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

Use the GSX pushback. Keeps you on the lines, and asks you which way you want to turn better. It references the nose, and for me, I used to always get it wrong with the Shift-p (1 or 2).

I cant afford  fsc, gsx, and fsgenesis, I could squeeze 1 - maybe 2 at a push! I didn't know FSCaptain gave boarding sounds, - I can use FS2crew for announcements.

yeah small stutters is a small price to pay to get it right.

Yes, I noticed that GSX pushback is the best so far. It pushed me right on the line. In FSCaptain you must choose the distance.

So it is true that the FSX's airport ground vehicles density slider takes a significant hit on performance? Good thing I have mine at 0%. So does GSX really replace the built-in FSX's airport ground vehicles altogether? Will I see luggage carts, fuel trucks, busses randomly drive all over the airport?

If you set it to Minimum or Medium it is ok, fps hit is about 20%.

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

Well if GSX can subsitute that, then I might as well buy it and keep my airport ground vehicle setting density slider at 0% if it will give me better performance.
