I nominate FSX Global as the number one add-on of '13

I have been absolutely blown away with FTXG, made more so by the installation of Scenery Tech's landclass for Europe. I would say that while FTXG is OK on it's own, it is nevertheless crying out for landclass, which of course will come in due time from Orbx. In the meantime I have a third party LC which is working fine. BTW, I had GEX Europe installed and well, (sorry Nick N) FTXG IMO blows it out of the water, but as I say it has to be used with landclass.

Waiting for OpenLC, but UTX is doing a great job of it so far....

Went to look at the Scenery Tech landclass, and found it interesting.

Got an email before from FSDreamTeam regarding 50% offers on XClass if anyone is interested.

I would nominate Majestic Dash 8, that's something truly new and high tech.

Agreed. The Q400 crushes the opposition in my opinion. I'm sure that FTXG is a fine product tho

This works in conjunction with UTX, right?

Or, it is one or the other?

Landclass wanna-know

My number one addon of 2013 would have to be Earth Simulations Isle of Man.

Yes it's like SceneryTech however, take a look my recent question about landclass.  While SceneryTech or Cloud9 may project great landclasses my question still is out there as to whether or not they are showing what is actually on the ground....esp if there have been changes to the landclass lookup table.

eh? Its not out yet.

In that case I vote for P3D V2.01 and LDS 757

For scenery yes. The Q400 pips it as 'best add on' for me though.

It looks really good!

I'm getting random CTDs since installing it, however.  Since it's a work in progress, I'm sure they will tackle that, and I also hope to see full DX10 compatibility to save some memory.

GEX, but that would be Ground Environment X, not Ground Effect x of which I have never heard. ;)

Heh heh, Ground Effect X. That's sounds like an interesting add on. I wonder what it might do? Maybe it adds winglets to any fixed wing aircraft.
