July 31, 201312 yr Calm down guys Calm down Rob clearly stated that you wont sleep and wake up and find a 777 released, he promissed! So the conspiracy theory about release on 4th of august is just a conspiracy theory and nothing is real over here I am sure we are all anticipating but thats the truth Rob said he will give us heads up on release, my guess is that they will give us the release date 1 week ahead or maybe less, business wise 1 week is enough to make sure customers are financially ready And let all the panic about release on this forum out, so avsim database wouldnt be down by the huge amount of panic from people congratulating each other for getting there safe after that long trip of waiting Finally, believe me they dont care abt sunday or saturday or whatever date, they dont care abt selling the 777 same day, they totally understand that half of the customers are on summer holidays, the revenue will keep runing few months after release and thats their objective I mean some people are still buying the 737 or other products up to this point! And dont forget the BETA TESTING. I very doubt the 4th of august and not even in 1 month time from today Its a sad story, but thats how i see it, you could all see it your own way Moe ELkarout

And really we haven't been working on this for 2 years - we spent a good 7 or 8 months post-NGX release making the 600/700 and doing the service packs for it. The 777 has really only been in full scale development for about a year and a half. Despite what anyone thinks, this project's development has progressed FAR faster than the NGX did. I'm surely excited to retire my 4S and get a 5S (can get a good discount too ^_^)

However since I'm still on the iPhone 4S, so I'll more than likely get the new iPhone over iPad. However old your iDevice is, iOS 7 will make it feel new again :wink: I've had it since release to devs in early June. I can say its truly wonderful, especially since they upgraded the beta version two days ago. Siri has improved, she sounds human, many many upgrades and looks more like Apple software should! Its another Apple related expensive year coming up
