August 5, 201312 yr This is Titanic in the Flightsim world. Except that it won't sink on its maiden voyage! Cory Baxes
August 5, 201312 yr I was- until I realised I did something Ryan told me not to do which resulted in the flight ending before we left the taxiway   I bet the controller was thinking "awhhh damn!" Earlier night for me.. --- Thank you all for the good feedback! I'm going to wait for something else to get sorted in the flight deck before I show a departure. So please standby and enjoy the screenshots ^_^ Here's one from just finishing up flight planning... wee bit too much fuel which I can confirm was taken off shortly after PMDG_777_Beta_BAW94.png Awwww :( Well video and screenshot are awesomee! WEE! I posted a comment about the space taken up on your desktop. Luke. If you convert a .avi file (fraps) to a mp4 using like sony vegas or a simple video converter you can get about 1gb + (mp4) compare to .avi (fraps 10gb+) And if you navigate to %temp% using the start menu. You see whole lot of file there. You can just shift delete everything in there. Its just a folder where it keep data when installing I had about 20gb+ from deleting that. Sorry about my bad English hope it helps edit: And if you delete your system restore point that can save you 5gb+ i have to do that as i have a ssd Kailiang Seah
August 5, 201312 yr Strobe light reflection in day time? Is it realistic? Yes of course it is - go take a photo with a camera and flash on - see if you see a reflection on the floor - of course you will. This was a big drawback before - you would see no light reflections during the day and thats just wrong. It will be more pronounced at night but is definitely visible during the day Elliot Westacott

This was a big drawback before - you would see no light reflections during the day and thats just wrong. It will be more pronounced at night but is definitely visible during the day It largely depends on the lighting conditions. If it's a dim/overcast day, then you undoubtedly will see the reflection of the strobes. If it's a sunny, practically cloudless day, then you'd struggle to see it. This is somewhat difficult, probably near impossible, to simulate correctly in FSX - but I'd rather see it reflect during the day than not at all. Luke Harvest

In this cloudy condition ( ), it is still pretty hard to see or can't even see strobe/NAV lights reflection. I agree it may be a FSX limitation, will try to live with that. Great video btw! Danny F
August 5, 201312 yr Author Strobe light reflection in day time? Is it realistic? FSX makes them and Nav lights visible in fog. There is a new option for light splashes during the day - but I don't use it. Luke have you tried a polar route yet in the pmdg 777? Wednesday hopefully doing OMDB>KSFO (-: - Luke Pabari
August 5, 201312 yr First of all thanks for the video, second what is she like taxiing? I know that when taxiing the 73ng I have to really be on my toes with the throttle inputs does she hold speed pretty good? Russell Homan
