August 28, 201312 yr Commercial Member Being a pilot myself, there are a few contingencies: Aviation is a passion, and it must be at the very least tolerated. Lack of tolerance is a deal breaker. Simulation may be seen as a silly game, but it's how I stave off cravings to go blow $500 on a flight somewhere random, so the eyeroll that I just got for dropping a tenth of that on a plane that will continually save me at least $200-500 a month should actually be met with: ...then again, this may also be why I'm still single.
