Are you guys using DX10 or DX9? I am running DX10 and used the Cold & Dark feature on my flight a couple of hours ago. I didn't have any issue with the clickspots, even when using the preflight panel.

You're doing OK mate. :good:

I have tested the HOTFIX which Scott sent me, and for me, it has completely cured the Clickspot problem.

This is not A2A announcing it as fixed, I'm just Joe user, but the problem is completely fixed for me, since applying the Hotfix.

Hopefully this will work for the others that tested it to - and Scott will hopefully then roll it out.

Cheers.

Good that this serious issue is out of the way and now they can focus on getting the FM right!

DX9, seems like this bug comes out differntly on everyones systems and some don't even get it at all. As long as I don't click "Cold & Dark" im not having it....weird

Ok, after Molleh suggested to use the plane on paved strips until a friction fix comes out I tought, well I might aswell use it since I have it. Started up at Swanson, but then I I got hunted down again by this irritating friction bug bug because I realised most of the small Orbx strips I have do indeed have paved runways, but not taxiways.... So back in the mud again. 50% of my addon airports are useless unless I wanna taxi around with full throttle in walking speed.

This really should be put as a top priority as the clickspot bug has......

...just quickly toggle the parking brake on then off, then don't touch the toe brakes, and you're straight out of the mud, and taxiing along at speed.     It's a workaround and it;s not ideal, but it works.

Have tried that, doesn't work for me :(

Well that it is strange, that one works for everyone else as far as I know.   The "stuck in the mud" has been proven to be brake related, and toggling the parking break resets the 'broken'  breaks and should free you up, to move along nicely.

I find alot of things is strange with this plane  That brake "fix" was one of the first things I tried. Have been constantly watching this forum and A2A forum for any solutions since yesterday...

Still no luck..

Well, I'm going to just back away from this one for a bit.

I've solved a number of issues thanks to the A2A forums, most having to do with FSUIPC and assumptions made differently on each side.  Now, I cannot for the life of me start the silly plane when I use my TQ, even though the mixture control seems to track my TQ.  When I prime, I now see no fuel flow and not surprisingly when I try to start, the plane never fires.  Change FSUIPC so that I have to manipulate mixture with the mouse, and all works fine.

I'm sure it's me, and some Accu-sim vs FSUIPC thing that I'm just not used to, but I don't see it and haven't experienced it with other planes.

I have to admit, this was not the expected first experience with A2A.  Yep - backing away for a bit and letting the dust settle.

After thinking abit, I thought I should give the "brake fix" another try(have tried it yesterday and also today when I posted that picture from Courchevel earlier without any luck).

Well, now it Works, and I can even use the toe brakes without getting back the "bug", I can use the sloped strips and everything is just great and it even stays that way  go figure.

Now I can get back to enjoying this plane and even use all the dirt strips I want  Thanks for getting me to try it again Dave. Yay

Now excuse me, I have some flying to do

Just hitting the brakes ( "." by default) also seems to be unsticking my brakes.

That maybe because "." is the shortcut for the parking brakes.

I thought "ctrl+." is the parking brake shortcut.

So far I concur, with the hot fix installed I have had no VC issues - still early, but I have been doing all sorts of crazy things in and out of FSX with a session in flight, and am golden to this point...
