September 4, 201312 yr I've already paid more than that in a pair of shoes...and my GF hates them. Mauricio Brentano
September 4, 201312 yr Im on a disability pension indefinitely, but given the above that I knew it was coming out long in advance, there was a pmdg 777 savings set aside, so this didn't hit me hard as if it was a one time off the disability income. Well, your not alone Dave. I am also, and have been saving for the last few weeks so I will be buying the T7 in about 12 hours. September 4, 201312 yr Yep, I too had "stashed the cash" for this add-on to one side...... hidden away in a PayPal account that the wife doesn't get to pore over! ........... so I bought within 20-30 mins of the release. It is so worth the cost to me... in fact I consider it a bargain for the hours of enjoyment I will get with it.
September 4, 201312 yr You know, those of you who haven't bought the 777 can start stashing a measly dollar a day somewhere and buy it in 3 months guilt-free. September 5, 201312 yr anyone know when the pmdg 777 liveries are available?? If you look in your START menu of your PC, and go to the PMDG folder, there is an application called "PMDG Operations Centre"...... This is an integrated module that shows you all liveries available and then downloads and installs any that you choose, in one fell swoop! It's a great system and this is how liveries are downloaded and installed in the PMDG 777. It's all covered in the manual.
September 5, 201312 yr And as already stated the OPS Center is worth $10 all by itself. It's nice to have all recent pmdg products in one manageable space.
September 5, 201312 yr Think about inflation, it is running 2-3% a year. So when FSX was released in 2001, we're now 12 years on. In those 12 years, some products are almost 36% more expensive and the value of the dollar has been reduced. 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
September 5, 201312 yr So when FSX was released in 2001, we're now 12 years on. Huh? FSX was released in October 2006....!
September 5, 201312 yr Huh? FSX was released in October 2006....! Sorry, the coffee hadn't taken affect yet, your right. 7 years x 2% or 3% = 14% to 21%. 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
September 5, 201312 yr  Your point about the inflation is spot on though. And so is his point about the dollar rate. I paid in EUR and it was some 4 Euros less expensive than I thought. Again, PMDG, perfect timing! What happened to AVSIM
