last night i did KIAD-OMDB, and currently i am enroute OMDB-EDDF (750nm to go). thereafter back to Dubai

Since I do not own the PMDG 777, consider this as me gatecrashing the party..........my PMDG 737-600 is currently parked at Gate 27, EGPF Glasgow. Next stop on my VFR tour of the UK is EGAA Belfast Aldergrove.

Today was a short day for me, i did OMDB-OOMS-OMDB , Tomorrow is a long flight for me, OMDB-YMML as EK406, Leaving Dubai at 1010local time (0610Z), early start and late finish...

UAE127/128 for me tomorrow, which means OMDB-LOWW-OMDB Currently parked at Gate B17 in OMDB

Fantastic!. Makes it very realistic, great idea! I might have to try this with the 777 when I get her. I'm still in the NGX for now.

I'm about a 1/3 of the way across the North Atlantic on a 14 hour trip from KATL to OMDB!   This is my first oceanic crossing since I flew the PMDG MD-11 between EHAM and KMIA in May 2011.   Getting reacquainted with NAT tracks (but not on this flight, as it uses fixed lat/long waypoints a bit north of the NATs), and having fun keeping track of fuel burn with my printout of the PFPX OFP.

 

I think this will be my second longest route ever, the longest was in the PMDG 747 between KLAX and YMML.   What a way to break in the T7, as I have lots of time to check out everything in the long cruise.

I have Wednesday and Thursday off this week... Bring out some long hauls

I just put an Etihad Cargo 777-200F on the ground in Melbourne last night... so I guess I might start out from there and work my way to Europe.

Tonight I will be doing EK418 OMDB - VTBS

Welcome!  The people at this party have fond memories of the PMDG 737.  Many of us will continue flying that bird.
