777 Making Flatulent Noises

Maybe something with the beta as well. Only way to know for sure is to start disabling one by one and see what it is.

Maybe the sounds breaking? Update drivers maybe?

Yes, that seems kinda like the issue I'm having. Does it sounds kinda like a really distorted exhaust from a truck or something? Kinda like Pffrrrffft?

Any possibility it could be some sort of ground cart engine loop?  When you are on the ground and tell the FMC to connect a ground cart you will hear an exhaust sound as the cart pulls up to the plane - could it possibly be that; re-looping for some reason?  Did you use a ground cart at all for that flight?

I did indeed used the ground cart, and I disconnected it by only removing the chocks, not disconnecting it individually, maybe that caused an issue? I'll try tomorrow and see if that sorts it out. ^_^

I was hearing something similar while parked at the gate with just the GPU running and also what sounded like water splashing

I can't even imagine what this could be. (I recorded most of the sounds in the product, so I know them rather well)

Can you provide a recording somehow?

You didn't let one rip and forget the mic was on did ya? :P

My wife keep accusing me....She does not believe PMDG would do such a thing.

She says, that sound carries signature she remembered married years go...And the dog is fine

Well, here's a recording of my issue:

As mentioned the sound appears when I pause and unpause the sim, and disappears when swithcing to external view and back..

Not sure if it's the same problem, but unless someone can tell me that it's supposed to be there I can't live with that sound

This is an FSX issue and happens on lots of addons. I forget the cause but you can also press the Q key twice to reset the sound.

The "engine-type running sound" you are hearing in the external view is the ground cart engine sound.  Disconnect the ground carts via the FMC and the sound should go away.  If the ground carts were not there and that sound was still playing than there is a bug with the ground cart sound looping when it shouldn't.

Are any of you guys using GSX when you're experiencing these issues?  I believe those have their own sound files, as well.
