September 16, 201312 yr Hi been searching the forums both here and over at radar contact forums to see if anyone is having any issues wth the 777 and rc4 and I have found nothing so far so maybe I am the only one but would be go to know other peoples experience. I have used rc4 for years now with no probs on all my PMDg planes, but so far I have done 2 flights in the 777 with RC4 and they both had issues. The sorts of things that are happening are things like -being forgotten by the controller -normally when you get 30-40 nm from arrival you are to told to contact approach and get a runway assigned etc, this has not happened -when I reach altitude it is not being recognised by the controller -sometimes when I breach an assigned altitude this is not recognised either and other little things as well this does not happened with my MD-11, NGX or Airbus X. Would be great to know if anyone else having issues or anyone knows what the problem is and how to fix? Thanks Keithy George
September 16, 201312 yr Think I had the same issue. Trouble with no response from the ground control at the gate, and after takeoff I was told to contact approach!? Had the same flightplan loaded with RC4 as with the 777. Never had this issues with my other planes. Will be more testing in the coming days. ======================== HAPPY FLYING Raymond
September 16, 201312 yr Snap - Problems I have is getting vectors in the opposiite direction,on approach then forgotten about - being told to line up and wait - and no take off clearance, altitude wise just be 300ft lower than assigned altitude then the controller wont say your at wrong alt. September 16, 201312 yr Interesting... I haven't had any of those issues with the 777. I assume you're using the latest v4.3? I think your best bet is to move this over to the Radar Contact forum and get some help from the team.
September 16, 201312 yr Hi there, no problems here, i use RC 4.3 together with the PMDG 777 from day 1, i had never an issue using them together, all is working as it should nothing is working different ! JG

September 17, 201312 yr Having the exact same issue with PMDG 777 and Radar contact. At this very moment I'm enroute to KPHX, and at 35NM from my destination, I'm still flying at FL390. I have yet to comeplete a successful flight with RC4 and PMDG 777. All other aircarft works fine... September 17, 201312 yr Only issues for me are late replies by ATC and occasional missing WAV files for the controller readback. Only happens during high CPU load, so it looks more like a process priority thing of RC4.3 to me than an issue with the T7 itself. What happened to AVSIM
