October 18, 201312 yr I know this has been said many times before, but I wonder how many FS9 users (including myself) would send dollars your way if you included us! I don't want to start a discussion about FS9 vs FSx vs Lockheed Martin. I am just pointing out that there are still a large number of FS9 users (flying commercial jets such as the Leanardo Maddog) who would be worth investing in!
October 18, 201312 yr Not going to happen in the near future that's is for sure, FS9 doesn't need its weather engine hacking so much to get it to behave properly, Pete Dowson already fixed it for the most part in FSUIPC. It's FSX that has serious bugs in its weather engine not FS9. Cheers, Andy.
October 20, 201312 yr I just bought the PMDG 777 last week, I am going through it's systems and getting a feel for it. Soon I want to start flying it more seriously so am looking at getting PFPX and a good weather engine to go with it...so.. Was thinking AS 2012 or Opus but then on research I find this fantastic sounding Active Sky Next in beta. This is the weather engine I want but it isn't here soon enough. A question, If I buy AS2012 now (love the idea of wind import on the 777 with AS2012), will I get a discount for ASNext when it releases? Jay Vorkapic
October 25, 201312 yr A question, If I buy AS2012 now (love the idea of wind import on the 777 with AS2012), will I get a discount for ASNext when it releases? I was wondering this too!!! If that's the case, then I'll buy AS2012 in a heartbeat. Brandon Cruz
October 29, 201312 yr AS2012 is on sale over at PC Aviator right now - 30% off through 11/5! Yep! $34.97 instead of $49.95! SO - again, will we get a discount on ASN when it comes out if we buy AS2012 now? -= Gary Barth =-
November 1, 201312 yr AS2012 is on sale over at PC Aviator right now - 30% off through 11/5! Yep! $34.97 instead of $49.95! SO - again, will we get a discount on ASN when it comes out if we buy AS2012 now? I'm confusing too... The PCAviator discount is great, but, if I'm thinking to get ASN whenever it will publish, I don't want to buy the "old" now, and then to buy the upgrade next (and find that I spent more money of the full ASN). What do you think? how much the ASN upgrade will cost? Shlomy Luxenburg, Israel X real ATC: LLHA, LLOV, LLET "Why fly a single airplane, when you can control many more" \ ATC www.vatil.co.il

What do you think? how much the ASN upgrade will cost? And just when do you think the new ASN is going to be released? When the PMDG 777 was "almost ready", it still took them 6 months to release it. I'm ready to switch from REX weather to AS, but I'm not sure I wnat to wait 6 more months. Funny that no one seems to be offering information on a possible discount for those already owning AS2012. -= Gary Barth =-
November 5, 201312 yr Here is the upgrade discount TO 2012. Perhaps the upgrade to ASN will be similar? This is the Full Version of Active Sky 2012. You may be eligible for a reduced price upgrade (40% discount) if you own any of the following:Active Sky Evolution, Active Sky Advanced, Active Sky X, Active Sky v.6.5

November 21, 201312 yr I absolutly love this version of Active Sky. From testing it with the group, it is the best version I've seen. Damian and Kertz and the rest of the team have really listened to the community in regards to overcast and IFR flying. Fantasitc job! And now, my screens!:
