 Aircraft States
o The four aircraft states have been modified. All FCU settings of the COLD / DARK state have been set to a minimum respectively to 000 whereas the TURNAROUND
state loads now exactly like after a “managed” ILS‐landing. The TAXI and TAKE‐OFF states are fully “managed” and the first altitude for both states is set to 7.000 feet.
 View System
o There were graphic “artefacts” respectively PFD, ND, UPPER and LOWER ECAM were “greyed out” if WING VIEWS were set to ON and the user changed between FULL

o Panel Bar (day and night view)
o The day and night views are no longer depending on the overhead panel light but on the FSX “current time” setting.
o Switch Positions
o The switch positions e. g. for TCAS and TILT, as well as for the various others switches like signs, lights etc. have been newly programmed and the checklist as well as co‐pilot function adjusted.
o Co‐pilot entering ALT values
o The ALT values (first altitude after Take‐off and GA altitude will be entered by the co‐pilot in visible steps (with sound) and also considering the 100 and 1000 switch.
o Cabin‐crew Take‐off call
o The cabin‐crew Take‐off call now starts app. one plane length before the runway holding point (instead of during taxiing to the runway).
o Doors automatically closing
o If the plane is “relocated” after loading the COLD/DARK state e. g. the gate is changed, then FSX automatically closes the doors and the COCKPIT PREPARATION
checklist did not start. With this release the LEFT FRONT door then automatically is opened again.
o Go Around Altitude: for some airports there is no GA flight path / altitude available in the NAV DB. In such a case the co‐pilot sets the GA altitude automatically to 5.000
feet.
 DATABASE
o New AIRAC 1309 included in new location: FSXMainFolder\Aerosoft\Airbus X Extended\NavDataPro

Excellent, thank you, like the gentleman above I don't log on there often and it is a big multi-product site!

All I need to do is find that password!

Log  into your account at Aerosoft (if you bought it at their shop). It's a full download and not a patch.

You'll find it there

Hmmm... bought this one from FlightSim Pilot Shop but the update does not seem to be on my account there. Perhaps it will appear eventually!

Bill

PS Ooops ignore the above - I needed to register it on the Aerosoft site and got the update there.

Mindreading skills not required - just a dose of common sense and willingness to get off one's backside and look where you bought the product from......

Yes, and to organise a professional website and to give instructions and readmes as required like 99% of other publishers.

It takes 30 seconds for the publisher to put a link & instructions into the update announcement compared to how many of us wasting 20 minutes each.

Does this work in DX10?

I've tried to load it twice and each time I get a wav loading error box, then when switching views FSX will crash and want to restart.

Had no problems whatsoever after somebody alerted users in the Avsim Forum to login to my Aerosoft account, then following Oliver's link, registering my previous AXE buy as he suggested, then getting the latest download.

Found an anomaly already in thsi latest Update. In the taxying checklist, the female F/O calls for nose lights but they are not switched on. I only discovered this from a head-on view, and then on checking the OH, sure enough, it was off. Anyone else care to verify that?

Rick,

I haven't checked in v1.15 yet but in v1.10 the nose light was set to 'taxi' by the built-in F/O, but not by the FS2Crew F/O - different procedures implemented.

Hi Oliver, don't have the FS2Crew for it.Waiting for a Button version. But as I was taxying out of the newly-bought Krakow---excelllent airport add-on-----I noticed from a Locked Spot view that the nosewheel lights were not on. When I checked the OH, sure enough it was in the off position despite hearing a check call in the Taxy checklist.

What about the actual state of this aircraft in 1.15? Is enough realistic in VNAV etc?
