November 27, 201312 yr I do not think PMDG has ever had a sale. You can also look at J&R.com (cheaper shipping and prices) http://www.jr.com/product/productListing.jsp?Ntt=pmdg Al Stiff
November 27, 201312 yr I think the elite products should stick by there products by not having sales. It upsets the ones who purchased full price and supported them in the past. It is kind of a slap in the face for the loyal customer base. ORBX had problems with that in the past and moved away from sales for the most part. PMDG hasn't gone down that road before and I don't think they ever will, or should. As products age their are opportunities to lower the price contingent on sales numbers, that is quite normal. If it bothers you some guys managed to get an addon for cheaper price, you really have a problem. November 27, 201312 yr If it bother you some guys managed to get an addon for cheaper price, you really have a problem. I haven't purchased the 777 at all so I was speaking diplomatically....If the 777 went on sale I would buy it in a second, and would also recognize how that would upset the ones who already purchased it. I am paying off a mortgage so my FSX spending has been almost non existent for the past year or so. I have been flying the hoard I purchased from 2006 to 2012 for the most part, it is a large enough hoard to keep me happy. Cheers Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

November 27, 201312 yr That's a business, no emotions and no compassion. Welcome to capitalism. Yes this is true....But I don't see PMDG having a sale because they never have in the past. If they did I would pick up the 777 in a heartbeat. Darn those pesky mortgage payments. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

Darn those pesky mortgage payments. PMDG doesn't practice sales, unfortunately. Everyone would like to get any product for less money. Lj. Prodanovic
November 27, 201312 yr What's actually a black Friday? Lj. Prodanovic
November 28, 201312 yr What's actually a black Friday? Seems to be the Friday after Thanksgiving, according to Wikipedia. (I actually thougth it had to do with tehe beginning of the world economy crisis in 1929(which in Europe is commonly referred to as "Black Friday", but in the US known as "Black Thursday"), and I was a bit confused, because that Wall Street Crash was in October, not November.) Right, black Friday is the Friday after thanksgiving (thanksgiving is the last Thursday of November), which is traditionally one of the biggest shopping days of the year in the united states. Its the start of the holiday shopping season and many stores have sales to entice people to come make purchases. We also have cyber Monday which is the Monday after thanksgiving where the focus is on online sales.

November 28, 201312 yr Commercial Member That's a business, no emotions and no compassion. Welcome to capitalism. "Compassion" is an element in pricing for a video game and you're going to be emotionally damaged if we don't sell you a simulated 777 for less money on Friday? Seriously? We're exactly not talking about a life necessity here. As someone above pointed out - some blowout sale every year would be incredibly unfair to all the people who purchased it at the regular price and I can virtually guarantee we'd catch all kinds of crap from people for it. Stable pricing has worked well for us for a long time, we're not going to start using gimmicks. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
