You ever see some of the spam that gets posted on here or even people bumping 5-year-old threads just to post spam, I think you'd agree that those are dumb.

I see Jesse retracted his "rating" for your post.  If you get a "dumb" rating, you can click on "List" to see who gave it to you.  A dumb post might be someone violating the AVSIM Terms of Service like trying to pirate something or breaking a EULA.  We will try to police these violations when reported or found by one of our Moderators/Admins.  If anyone has a problem with a rating they received and the lister will not remove it like Jesse did above, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do to get it removed (that is if I have the time).  It is not going to destroy your life/career here at AVSIM if you get a lot of thumbs down or dumb listings.  There's a more lengthy discussion of this new system in the Hangar Chat forum.  Personally I think it is kind of neat as you can provide your thoughts about a post without really posting (and risking the chance of getting a "dumb" listing :lol: ).

I think the ability to rethink and retract a mistaken "opinion icon" is a rather neat and novel feature though!
