Anyone else suffering the biggest kid in the house thanks to the 777? ....not only to the 777.....also thanks to NGX and FSX in general.....! Btw I am a few years older (or less young... ) than you but still feeling the biggest kid in the house when it comes to flightsimming...!! November 27, 201312 yr +1. Big sim kid for over 20 years now! I am 44 and I think we, the "seniors", all have been waiting a looong time for things being as good as they are today. Actually an amazing development, but I don't wish back the times of 16 color display or static 2D panels. I really enjoy it (exclusively during night time hours) because otherwise I won't see my family too much... Always happy landings, Claus Claus KUEPPER

Always happy landings, You are so correct with how long we have been waiting for a decent software like Pmdg's Professional series of sim's. I like you have been preparing myself for a long time.. And we also have some cool Aircrafts on the horizon. For the people who are starting to get into Flight Sim's now well.. all I can say is they have it way better than us when we were starting out. Who know's maybe something will come out this for the youth of flight simulations.

November 29, 201312 yr I am also 42 years old and I'm more childish then it comes to FSX than my 11 months old daughter. My wife appreciate my hobby though. Says it's better I play with computer than getting drunk in a bar and looking for another woman (with a glimse in her eyes) . Mikael Johansson

Says it's better I play with computer than getting drunk in a bar and looking for another woman (with a glimse in her eyes) . That's exactly what my wife says to me. Of course I have to do the occasional wild night out with the boys just to keep her in the loop. You don't whant her to become too relaxed, do you? :-) BTW at only 35y I'm allowed to be childish. // Lasse Kronborg
November 29, 201312 yr I would say it has changed a tad... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27szyA9mZ8Q Norman Henderson Funny video! (I think an external frame limiter is used  ) I remember this sim look from the electronic stores and a computer fair in April 1984 in cologne. I actually started in 1993 with Amiga A320 Approach Trainer (Thalion) and MS FS4 for Mac. 20 years... With my help we try to land the Cessna 172. Though, now she prefers her I-pod thingy over my flight sim and over my 1000 sq. ft Lionel train layout. The wife some plays flight attendant. It makes landings quite hard. I think I need a pilot uniform. I'll be looking for a co-pilot soon to join me in Miami on a full motion 777 simulator. I wonder of anyone will be interested. Look for as post in Jan. if anyone is interested. Paul Gugliotta
November 30, 201312 yr It doesn't matter what age, as long as you are having fun with this hobby. I'm 52 and still loving it................ Kin M. (Klax)
November 30, 201312 yr Oh, you kids!!! Im 61 and sit here in the basement, flying my sim and feeling like a kid. As it is said, "Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional." There's just something about this hobby....

There's just something about this hobby.... Love it !! From another 61 years young : this hobby has been part of my life for over 20 years and while I've got less time these days due to work, it's still THE hobby for me. My wife is quite used to asking "where are you flying tonight" as though it's the most natural thing in the world to do ! You gotta love the way that the experience has become so much more realistic and immersing over the years, in no small part thanks to PMDG :Applause: . No, my now grown-up kids will never be able to say that their dad is old for his age B) . Christmas break coming up, I hope to get a decent start on the 777. Cheers, Emile Bax.
