I have Eaglesofts Citation X and Beechjet. Unfortunatley, while they may be the best available so far, they do not compare to payware from PMDG & some other companies. I find panel are poorly organized in terms of virtual ergonomics if you will, plus they are not that sharp on my very crisp display, again, compared to other higher end payware. I haven't used either jet for over 5 months I'd say. I use PMDG's B1900D and 737NG, and also the very simple Skydecks Panel Design CRJ with added weather rader & TCAS. Very clean and excellent 2D panel, albeit a bit simple with no FMC, and a very crude VC. Also use the Piper Meridian from Flight1. I am still waiting for a bizjet that compares to one of these.Noel

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - I'd never question another gentleman's view of his wife, or his airplane - at least in public.The Avanti is definitely an acquired taste. Also like most aircraft in person the view and perspective is a lot different than photos or a computer screen. No matter what tricks - it's still a 2D repreentation of a 3D object.I've been lucky enought to see a couple Avanti's at Meacham. Really looks more graceful in real life.The thing I like about the FSD aircraft - all of them - is the 'realism' when you overstress the aircraft. You cannot push an Avanti past the barber pole, it comes apart. You can strip out the gear boxes on the aircraft with them by running the engines too fast too long, etc, etc, etc.I love the way the Avanti flies - I hate the way it taxi's. I'd probably feel the same way about the real aircraft if I flew it.I also have the ESDG jets - love them also.One thing I have to do is watch the VC and see what resoloution it was designed for. Since I use a flat panel for my main view / flying - matching resoloution is more important than on a CRT.But I'm also over 50 and my eyes, which were never good, ain't what they used to be.

I totally agree with your assesment of the Avanti; I just put the RealityXP Jetline2 gauges in it and I can't stop flying it. (Now if FSD could just add a little ground friction.) I think I'll eventually have to put their weather radar in there as well.The Eaglesoft Citation X is also a wonderful bird and is a blast to fly so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as well. I'm also waiting for ESDG to come out with the updated Beechjet panel.Erik

(More fodder for a pointless argument)I don't own either a PMDG or Eaglesoft product yet, but I have a laptop, and I don't normally have any problems reading gauges in VC in any product I've tried. 'Course I'm running at 1920 x 1200, so that may help.Thomas

I dont use the Eaglesoft aircraft for the same reason as some others:Blurred panels and no FMC.Simple as that. Its a pity because the exterior of most of them look niceGP
