June 11, 201411 yr Commercial Member Okay, so here's a few of the requests wrapped into one (except I was too lazy to add the LR in). Ignore the lack of landing gear. I'm sure I could've shopped it back in, but since I was too lazy to add the LR in...do the math  [Hi(er)-res] Rather you than me Kyle! I guess we are lucky in the UK as our climate never gets as cold or hot and humid as yours. Mind you on the rare times it does the whole country comes to a stop (especially when it snows). In fact on the BBC last night there was a documentary about British Airways( 2nd part of 3). One part of it was filmed at T7 JFK in a bad snow storm yet the airport stayed open. One New Yorker correctly pointed out that Heathrow would have closed with half that amount of snow! Yeah, the head and humidity can be killer here (more the humidity than the heat). As long as I'm moving on my bike, it's not as bad, but when I stop, I bake. As far as airports go, ours are varied. BOS and DEN handle snow like it's not even a thing. If the south gets snow, everything stops (mainly due to a lack of, or minimal amount of de-icing equipment). ATL got snow last winter, and even DC laughed at them for their overreaction (for reference, DC are schools will close for 3"). Our airports remained open for the Snowpocalypse of 2010, though...that was one reason I quit my ramp job (got forced into working overnight shifts there, even though all the UAX flights were cancelled, and I was salary, so no overtime or comp). June 11, 201411 yr Use fsrecorder it will recorded the the model and all of its control surfaces. http://www.fs-recorder.net/ Weston Hall
June 11, 201411 yr What about setting up a quick AI flightplan and compile it into a BGL, with departures using the models you want? Wes Meyer
June 11, 201411 yr KLM! The only B777 I've ever been on, and it was the -300ER! Regards, Jeremy Chesney
June 11, 201411 yr Nice shot there in #16 Kyle! Thank You very much for sharing! All Your biking obviously seems to have an inspirational effect! Good luck for Your next tour! Enjoy flying and happy landings.
June 11, 201411 yr Hi Kyle, Thanks for the previews so far. Would it be asking too much if you could post a few screenies of the Jet Airways livery in action? Thanks and Regards, Dinshaw Parakh.
June 11, 201411 yr Author i made this once with FSRecorder using a saved record and played back "as AI Traffic" Michael Michael Moe
June 11, 201411 yr Thats my dream. A real flight in a 777-300ER and a flight in a Cessna 172 . Nice shots. The Air Canada looks very awesome. Philipp Schwaegerl
June 11, 201411 yr These are pretty sweet. Can someone with EZDoc try setting up a world camera (one that doesn't change view) then taking a screenie of each aircraft in the position you want, then simply photoshop them on top of each other? I say simply  but I can't do it.
June 11, 201411 yr Commercial Member I used FSRecoder and what you see is what happened (no gear - yes, I checked the right box for gear). The 777s and the 737 actually have the test package turned on for some reason, too. My bet is just some issue with the sim. I tried loading all of that up at PAE, which is a heavy (heavy orbx area), so my sim was probably just complaining. I don't have the best rig in the world, but it gets 99% of what I ask it done, so I'll take it. As for the other requests, I might get curious, but I'm pretty solidly booked up through the end of the weekend (little brother is getting married). Might try to get another group shot out on Apron W at IAD. At this point, though, people have pretty much covered the entire list. I'm not doing the whole list. Someone else might, but I'm sure not... Kyle Rodgers
June 11, 201411 yr There's an even easier way to do this. The SDK kit has a tool called Traffic Explorer, or something like that. It can be opened from the sim, and from there every object in the SimObjects-folder can be placed out as AI or static objects. You can also assign a speed, heading etc. or a flight plan from the tool. I've used it to place aircraft carriers when practicing carrier landings (not with the 777 though). It's pretty neat! I put out an entire moving convoy with destroyers, support vessels etc., all in less than 5 minutes. Here's the manual: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc526965.aspx#TrafficExplorer Magnus F.

Imagine that, no engine power needed for taxi, silky smooth landings, not having to worry about tires at all... Kevin Tao
