Russia dissolves a situation by creating misinformation to confuse people into stop talking about an issue to the point where they just move on. Their 'Spin Doctor' methods differ then the way that Western Nations do things, but the West spins things too.

fact (per US intelligence) the BUK missile battery that fired was moved back across the Russian border

This "fact" is a fake if you mean picture with BUK moving. It's location appeared to be at Ukrainian side as billboard showed. It is sad that people are prone to belive every anti Russian media stuff.

Yes, was fired on the Ukrainian side then moved across the border.

Correct, but if they supplied heavy weaponry and/or advisors to the rebels they are culpable specially in view of the fact (per US intelligence) the BUK missile battery that fired was moved back across the Russian border. I don't think anybody suggests that Putin (or his entourage) ordered the shooting but the fact that such transfer occurred through the border and was neither "encouraged" nor "discouraged" by Kremlin speaks volumes. Unless of course Russia is so decentralized (we know it isn't true) and disorganized that government people in Moscow have no control over their borders and missile batteries simply run unimpeded.

Right, so following your logic to its conclusion; should the Mistral Carriers France is selling to Russia be used in some future conflict and they are involved in say bombing a hospital that is the fault of France and Russia?

Before we proceed with this logic here is a list of some countries the 'West' currently sells weapons too:

Israel, Djibouti, Honduras, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Algeria and Egypt.

Anything on that (shortened) list making you uncomfortable?

Look Russia isn't a nice regime but both East and West are losing sight of the fact 300 people lost their lives and as already said are cynically only interested in furthering their own interests via propaganda.

Yes, was fired on the Ukrainian side then moved across the border.

How do you know that? You have seen it with your own eyes, together with serial numbers of unit and missiles?  Any actual evidence? The video itself is not enough, proves really nothing. Please, can we discuss facts only until investigation is complete?
