August 6, 201411 yr Announcement was made a little while ago on Facebook. I'm on my phone so I can't grab a screenshot, but someone else can grab one. Guys, this may be the one we've been waiting for, but we shall see what they deliver.

August 7, 201411 yr Holy Schnikes!!! Never saw that coming! Freeking wonderful! Lets not get too excited. They may sill not make a decent implementation of the PL-21. Hope they prove me wrong..... August 7, 201411 yr Author Lets not get too excited. They may sill not make a decent implementation of the PL-21. Hope they prove me wrong... I think they've finally realized they need to pick it up or they'll be left in the dust with their already solid rep as a group that sells textures and models first with systems as a second priority. I think there are two outcomes... 1) They release an acceptable simulation of the PL-21 system. I don't really know exactly what that entails as I'm not familiar with those avionics, but it'd get hyped as the first high-ish systems fidelity biz jet we've had in a while. Carenado sells a bunch of copies and rakes in the cash. OR 2)They half-&@($* the product, all the while delaying it to customers. People buy it anyway, but end up wanting more. Those who wait for the F1 installer might return it with a lasting bitter taste in their mouths as once again Carenado doesn't deliver the whole thing.
August 7, 201411 yr Well, I for one won't be negative about such little news. I do know that I can be happy. This is a step in the correct direction for them and I think they will be able to pull it off. Sure it may not have the depth of anything PMDG or Aerosoft, but this will be one of the most advanced, and you already know beautiful Bizjets to be out that is current. I am still following EagleSoft and hope they make an announcement soon also, but I think this will be a good one. These are one of my favorite jets, so it will be a day one purchase for me at least. August 7, 201411 yr I'm excited - bizjet with navigraph ... We don't have many of those (at least up to date) | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 7, 201411 yr Good news, but they first must conquer their misunderstanding of, and the implementation of, Autopilot FLC key function. "Within the limitations of FSX"..
August 7, 201411 yr Hearing that they delayed a project to add features is encouraging, and navigraph implementation is a definite step in the right direction. I would like to see them work on systems that make good use of navigraph and better flight dynamics next. Ethan Edelson
August 7, 201411 yr I for one am impressed with Carenado, over the last 2 years they have grown as a company, their earlier products even had lasck luster FDE's, since then they have improved visual quality, FDE's and now systems. If they improve their systems simulation (I am not expecting PMDG, more like QualityWings) and then they work with say Turbine Sound Studios for their sounds, then we would be talking about a whole new kind of Carenado. That being said I was going to buy the H850XPR anyway, this is just more of a reason for me to throw money at the screen!
August 7, 201411 yr I go to the unofficial Carenado forums after each release and see long lists of bugs that they never fix. They are becoming more like Captain Sim after each release. Robert Stein
August 7, 201411 yr Commercial Member I'll be honest, my first response was 'Wait, it's not April 1st...'. ^_^ Regardless, we'd be remiss to not encourage this. It's a great step forward. If it's done well, I'll purchase for sure. Jim Stewart Milviz Person.
August 7, 201411 yr I am still following EagleSoft and hope they make an announcement soon also, but I think this will be a good one. These are one of my favorite jets, so it will be a day one purchase for me at least. Screenshots of the WIP VC renders and additional shots of the external model were posted on the ESDG forums a few weeks ago, just FYI. Now, back to our topic at hand...
