  • I bought it and flew it a few times but due to it's lack of SID and STAR planning I deleted it. Waiting for an update from FF but don't hold your breath. I would spend your money on something else to

  • Because its tedious hard work that alot developers love to skip

XPX is getting good quality payware aircraft now but they really need more airport developers that can make quality like Flightbeam and FSDT to get on board.

This is a definite buy at any rate.

Agreed about needing high quality airport developers like Flightbeam and FSDT.  The advanced model of the A350 will not be as complex as the professional models such as the 777, but still good for X Plane.

Intel i-9 13900KF @ 6.0 Ghz, MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X 24GB, MSI MAG CORELIQUID C360, MSI Z790 A-PRO WIFI, MSI MPG A1000G 1000W, G.SKILL 48Gb@76000 MHz DDR5, MSI SPATIUM M480 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2TB, Windows 11 Pro Ghost Spectre x64

They actually say that the A350 has many things that the pro's don't have for now , and that advanced products will get updates to match the pro's .

Advanced has all the systems included , so if you are doing everything right it will fly like a pro one , but the diffrence is if you are not doing everything right it will "forgive" you , while with the pro it'll less "help" you ...

Without the QPAC fly by wire plug in I doubt it will fly like a bus.

How would you know if the current QPAC plugins would really fit. Peters A380 and A 320 don't use the same plug-in.

And if necessary Flight Factor could probably license an A350 plug-in from QPAC too.

FlightFactor has no problems to simply get the helpof other specialists. So they got the help of FlyJSim for the flight behaviour of their Boeing 757.

That's one of the good things about X-plane developers they seem to have a more family feel when it comes to issues.

I agree, the Qpac is Amazing. if FF creates their own default FlightModel it won't be as good.

Maybe it isn't such a great news, who knows?

mtaxp- What things do the advanced models have that the pro's do not?

It was my understanding that the advanced models will not have a FMC that is as realistic as the pro models?

x-plane.org is an open forum, and still the most important X-Plane forum. You can read there without registration. As the A350 is a X-Plane project, aimed at X-Plane users, it makes no sense to have such threads in forums where just a tiny fraction of X-Plane users are around. The "airplane development notices" section at x-plane.org is traditionally _the_ place for news about aircraft in development (at least for those developers who sell at x-plane.org).
