September 5, 201411 yr Hey everyone, Decided to take a trip to Dublin with one of my favorite aircrafts painted in the colors of my favorite airline, Emirates. It was an uneventful flight with some wonky weather along the way, but for the most part quite fun. A6-EGO did the honors today, but unfortunately in real life the 1000th 777 stickers have long since been removed. Luckily for us in FS, we can still keep said sticker on. As always all screenshots are unedited. Enjoy! No questioning the dominant carrier here: Beautiful tail: Being pushed back: At some point while taxiing to the active, Active Sky decided Dubai wasn't hazy enough so it lowered the visibility for whatever reason. Here we are lined up and just about ready to go: Thundering away: Climbing shortly after takeoff: Here we are at our initial cruise altitude FL330: Puttering along somewhere over Romania: Top of descent as we near our destination: We're cleared to approach Runway 28 at Dublin Airport: Everything down: Terra firma: Such a majestic aircraft: And shortly after shutdown: Thank you for looking!
September 5, 201411 yr Nice shots, really like the "thundering away" from Dubai one. Thanks for sharing! Stu Bevis PC: i5 8600K @ 5.0GHz, Asus Maximus X Hero, Corsair 16GB @ 3200MHz, EVGA GTX970SC
September 6, 201411 yr Nice shots...looks like your AI traffic level is set at about 200% Chris Sunseri
September 6, 201411 yr Can you share your route for this flight? Thanks, and very nice pictures. Elimar Bossini Piratelo
September 6, 201411 yr I agree shot no1 is superb! …..I love the darker shadows that FS9 has. :Applause: I'm guessing your sky is by REX? Looks like you have static_height issues judging by your nose wheel in shot 2. I have never flown the POSKy 773…..you are inspiring me to give her a go. My FS Videos
September 6, 201411 yr Nice shots! The amount of AI!! I can only see a maximum of four aircraft at OMDB with traffic set at 30% UT2....
September 6, 201411 yr Author Can you share your route for this flight? Thanks, and very nice pictures. As this is the POSKY 777, I just used the MSFS flight planner and used whatever route it spat out. Thanks for the kind words everyone! Some of the AI is tailor made by myself and some of it is WoAI. It's for reasons like this that I intend to stay with FS9. I can at least land at busy traffic hubs and find them populated just as in real life as opposed to landing at major traffic hubs that have minimal activity. The sinking landing gear always seems to happen when AES pushes back the aircraft. It does look a bit wonky in screenshots but it's only for a few moments so I haven't given it much thought. Do you know what value I should modify the static_height field to? Appreciate the comments all, thanks again!

It does look a bit wonky in screenshots but it's only for a few moments so I haven't given it much thought. Do you know what value I should modify the static_height field to? On first glance you might like to try changing these lines under the contact point section of your aircraft cfg to.. static_pitch=-0.2 static_cg_height=15.6 Backup your aircraft cfg first.
