Do you still have a GNS unit defined in a popup window, possibly?

Search the panel.cfg file for "GNS"

Im gonna try this tonight... thanks for the idea Bert. Ill let you know.

I can’t figure out what is the trick to turn on GTN1 and GTN2 in cold & dark start-up? They are on in ready for taxi start-up, but  in cold & dark mode only the pop-ups are working. They are not powering up after avionics are on.

Can anybody please provide the link again.  The one dated on Sept. 1 doesn't work either.

Thanks!

I believe you have to have the Avionics master switch turned on. I think the units will power right up.  If that doesn't work I am sure Bert will have an answer for it.

With this mod, when transitioning from GPS nav over to an ILS approach the GNS auto switches to VLOC.  Where in the aircraft to I change it over??  I'm used to G1000 aircraft with a CDI button.

Thanks for the help!!

The HSI shows GPS or LOC1.

It should follow the setting of the GNS  (GPS or VLOC).

You change this with the GNS unit CDI button.

Doesn't get much easier than that!!  lol.    I'll just run it off the GNS then.

Thanks Bert!!

Same here. Inserted a line to call up the GTN in the PANEL file but it's massive, and only a quarter it if visible. Help appreciated!

The easy way too get the pop up to work, is to use the Flight One config tool. It will add the click spots and pop up windows. You may have to search a little for the click spots on the 530 frame. You also may have to turn the instrument reflections off in the control window pop-up.
