Just checking, does anybody else get stutters at FSDT's KORD at night time. By stutters I mean, if panning around in Outside View-Locked Spot, does any body experience a stuttering when panning around? If so, how did you fix it?

Thanks for sharing that. I thought it was just me.

Yeah it was always a place where I had to lower AI traffic to get reasonable frames.

Flying into this airport in real life, (for the first time as a captain giving IOE training to a new FO!)- part of the "experience" is how insanely busy it is. You never stop moving, listening, watching. The crazy counter-clockwise flow into the United B gates. Thunderstorms at 6am. Fun LOL!

I get pauses there also. Even flying into KMDW if I'm landingfrom the north I will get a few seconds pause if that scenery is a

in my flight path .

I'm getting a smooth experience. There are some issues with missing textures on that scenery in particular that had a stutter happen every 3 second, but that got solved with a small patch from FSDT. Other than that all the FSDT scenery is smoot . Even if it is low frames there is no stutter. I'm always around 16-25 depending on the aircraft flown.

I too am getting around 16-19 there but like you experienced, stutters in every fee seconds when in Outside View panning around.

From what I've read, FDST sceneries do tend to be a bit heavy on systems and tend to lead to some stuttering.

You may need to lower settings a bit to get the best performance with them.

You need to check the FSDT forums. There is a topic for a missing taxiway texture for the light . That is the solution to the problem.

Download the installer again from their website and that should fix it.

Thanks............much appreciated

Add mine to it too. Will check this solution.

I had that horrible stutter and some weirdness a few months ago and the new installer fixed it. It didn't fix landing off to the side of the runway on the ILS though...

Steve McNitt

Update:  I tried the missing textures fix but stutters are still there.  Guess I'll d/l the new installer and see what happens.
