November 7, 201411 yr Commercial Member Gary, Thanks for the update. If the US team has requested the username/password from FWI, then unfortunately that is all they can probably do at the moment and wait for a reply. If FWI controls the database for registered users or the registration server for their products, then the end retailer probably cannot access that and solve the problem directly. Please allow them time to get a response from FWI. If they cannot get a response within 3-5 days and we cannot resolve the issue, I am sure the US team will be happy to offer you a refund if you cannot install the product due to an issue with the developer. I'll send them another email and see if they have made contact with FWI regarding your issue as yet. Sorry I cannot do more for you from here. However, I'm afraid that waiting another 3-5 days just isn't good enough. Based upon PC Aviator's current form, this period will come and go, they'll be the usual, non-existent communication and, hey presto, we'll be back to square one - resolving the problem using a public forum. Let's just cut to the chase and provide me with a full refund. I think that it's pretty obvious the FWI are no longer in business - my usual forum login username / passwords are now being denied and all forum areas are closed. I find it incredible that these customer issues are even being adressed via a public forum. Why can't PC Aviator have the decency to reply to my emails personally ? Like so many companies that offer poor customer service, it all comes down to communication. Most of the time, folks want to be communicated with and not just ignored. Just as a matter of interest, I purchased FWI's Dublin a year, or so ago from JustFlight and had absolutely no problems registering the product. Regards Gary
November 7, 201411 yr Commercial Member Hope your issue gets resolved, Gary, or that you receive a refund. I completely understand your frustration. I've been in the same position far too many times with a variety of online companies in the past. I've been in the same position far too many times with a variety of online companies in the past. Thanks for your comment. At the end of the day, I just want to enjoy the scenery that I have purchased in good faith. I suspect that PC Aviator will procrastinate a bit, make some lame excuse why they can't offer me a refund and then just hope that I go away and stop bothering them...
November 7, 201411 yr Hi Dugald, We received another batch of Carenado X-Plane aircraft updates just last night. I am working on updating all of them. Will advise when they are ready to go. Thanks for your patience. Hi Dean, I now have the updates. Thank you very much for your help. Dugald
November 8, 201411 yr Commercial Member Gary, Not so fast jumping to incorrect conclusions please! These things take time. Now, we got a reply from FWI, so it does not seem they are out of business. I will message you the details as they contain registration details for your eyes only, but Allan from FWI has apparently also emailed you some instructions. No problem Dugald. December 11, 201411 yr Sorry for posting here but I thinks this is a good way to get some info. I've just bought Carenado X-Plane B-58 from PC Aviator. That plane is in V3 but your doenload is still V2. As i can't register this product in Carenado.com site, ¿can anybody tell me how to get the updated plane? Thanks
December 11, 201411 yr Two things. It would be helpful to know if your purchase was from the Australian or from the US branch of PC Aviator. Dean who frequents this Forum and promptly responds to posts is from the Australian branch (see his posts above). If you have already tried emailing or telephoning the branch where you made the purchase and if your post above does not bring an answer to your query, you could also try a post on the PC Aviator Australia Community Forum. Gary
December 12, 201411 yr Thanks for replying Gary, I bought it from US store. I'll try to contact them by email.
December 15, 201411 yr Well, i had no response. I'll wait a little more just becuase yoday's monday and now is morning in USA (I write from Europe). Anyway, it'd be nice if someone from PC Aviator who sees this thread, can give a hand. Thanks. EDIT. The sooner i post this, the sooner i get a response from Support. Problem solved.

December 24, 201411 yr Commercial Member Hi CaptKornDog, Likely none before the new year now. We do have some great general Xmas/New Year deals going on at the moment however. The Tuesday deals will resume in 2015. DeanManager - PC Aviator AustraliaRetailing Sim DVD Software, Downloads, Hardware and Accessories
January 24, 201511 yr Hello Folks, same problem here. Asked about two weeks ago when they are going to update the Airbus A318/319 to version 1.21. No reply. Now I discovered, that they have updatet it in the mean time. However its frustrating to see that they are not capable of responding, even within two weeks. I think they should give customers an option to be automatically notified, once a purchased product is updated, because if they don´t reply to mails, how do you know when they update? I don´t have the time to "stalk" their website all the time and wait until they finally update stuff. As much as I like their tuesday 10% deals, I guess I spend the next money at an other reseller, because the customer "support" I received so far is worse than poor! I hope they step up their game in terms of customer service, I really do!
