Not the first lead or apparent lead to ride off into the sunset - there was the guy who went saying he was only ever contract and always intended to go - forgotten his name, then John N? .    Take a look at the early threads here in the P3D general - we got 261 pages of threads here.     Of course some of the early posters have gone silent or left as well

I just got word that he has joined the X-Plane team. How nice is that!

His online resume says 4.5 years I think.

Isn't the Internet wonderful? There are no secrets (except whether there will ever be a 64 bit P3d).

This is a cpl of weeks old but I only just heard and I havent read it here

 

Wes left a few months ago, before 2.5 was released ... primarily to be closer to his family.  Adam has picked up where Wes left off ... there are few more new faces I've communicated with on P3D development team (so I'm assuming they have increased in size or where there all along).

 

I'm assuming John V. wasn't aware as he probably wouldn't have posted his comments about no P3D 64bit and his meeting with Wes back in Nov 2014 if he had known Wes was no longer with LM.

 

As far as P3D goes, business as usual for v3 and beyond.  There really is nothing to see here as this news is old news.
