September 16, 201510 yr Default P3D. PM me for google wallet info. Really? Yours looks so shiny compared to my 2.5 water. I will mail it to you, there will be a $3.00 shipping and handling fee. PM me your info. Let me guess.... you want 64bit. Josh Daniels-Johannson
September 16, 201510 yr Dammit. I'm placing myself in a holding pattern to wait for P3D V3 to be released. Have had to reinstall W7 so am not going to bother with a fresh install of 2.5 at this point - but cannot wait to use this superb scenery.
September 16, 201510 yr Author Does the addon manager behave with this airport? I used to get some ugly freezes with FSDT airports. Kinda makes me hesitant. No problem, just entered number, job done. I found this pretty hard on my system with orbx NCA and ut2 traffic. It does look good though. When I had NCA installed on last PC there was a huge fps hit with NCA at KSFO, there was a post about it at Orbx (It might have even been started my me)and tells you to delete some files. once deleted all is fine, I cannot remember but it was something to do with some boats/crane's etc. I posted a quick video here (before the flicker fix): http://www.avsim.com/topic/474952-flightbeams-ksfo-hd-with-some-pa31-l1011-and-727/?p=3296938 Cheers, Rob. I have to say upto now the best airport out there for me was Flightbeams KDEN then there KIAD, but this and having looked and enjoyed Robs vid, for me imo ofc its the best large airport ever made. I have just about every addon airport ever made, but Flightbeam are just the very best. That night lighting at KSFO is just stunning. @Rob Thanks for the vid, Great job, you really need to think about getting MT6 Rob. BTW I think after watching that vid there will be no more as you license will be removed, "Traffic" @David Interesting screen shot. I could not help notice, your below Vref, high on approach, looks like a go around and you have AT OFF, fair play to you, you have control  , joking aside Nice Screen shot David of the airport, I did not have fps on last night but good to see 27fps I only put it on after landing. . September 16, 201510 yr By the way did you purchase a new Yoke and if you don't mind me asking what brand is it? No, still using my Saitek Cessna Pro yoke ... it's on my list, just haven't decided yet. Wow, some great screenshots, need to load up NCA and see how KSFO works ... add MT6 back in the mix. Cheers, Rob. How do you properly install the hotfix? Just copy the files from their relative directories off your FS platform root ... or extract zip to FS platform root (i.e. D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar 3D V2\) and overwrite and merge when prompted. Cheers, Rob.
September 16, 201510 yr Anyone tried this new SFO with PMDGs NGX? At my site it is quite unstable. VAS limit is reached very quick. FPS between 15 and 20. Also had some non-OOM CTDs. I have very conservative settings (no shadows, low autogen, etc.). ORBX NCA is active but cranes etc are deactivated as suggested above. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
September 16, 201510 yr Just for reference the PMDG NGX and/or 777 performs better in terms of FPS (about the same with VAS) than the CS L1011 and CS 727 used in my video. The CS engine smoke effects can induce an FPS hit also, especially with SGSS AA 4X at 4K. Cheers, Rob.
