November 25, 201510 yr Hello Everyone, Is it a good combo? I mean compatibility & performance wise? Thanks in advance
November 25, 201510 yr Works fine for me. Philip Manhart :American Flag: - "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." ~ Plato
November 25, 201510 yr I'm running windows 10 and it works a treat with P3D. I've had no issues. And if your coming from Windows 7 I believe there is a performance gain to be had.
November 25, 201510 yr Commercial Member I too am running P3D v3 and W10 and besides some driver issues with W10 I'm a happy camper. - Jordan Jafferjee - AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D | Asus X670-E Pro Prime | Gigabyte RTX4080 Eagle | 64G G.Skill Trident Z.5 DDR5-6000 | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 | 2x2TB Samsung 990 Pro NVME | NZXT H7 | Win 11 24H2 | TM Warthog Flight Stick + Throttle | Honeycomb Alpha + Bravo | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | Samsung 43" Odyssey Neo G7 | Dell U3415W
November 25, 201510 yr Same!.... And don't Forget about DX 12 which promises to give us a boost in performance soon as LM gets off their butts and supports it. … It's been in their hands for over a year. November 25, 201510 yr Hey Sidh, Be Aware - I did the W10 Upgrade - from Win7/64 - and even after going on line and Getting the Proper Drivers - Win 10 Brought My System to a Crawl - Fortunately there is a built in UnDoo - and I was back on win 7/64 within 24 Hours - It doesn't work the same on all Systems - Good Luck and Let Us know how You make out !! - Johnman B)
November 25, 201510 yr If it works fine, don't touch it. There is absolutely no advantage to "upgrading" your OS simply because it has some new clothes on. Upgrading OS's is like upgrading your axe. If your current axe cuts through wood like a champ, why would you buy a new axe? If/when Windows 10 offers an advantage to P3D, then you can always do the upgrade thing.
November 25, 201510 yr Commercial Member Thank you everyone! I am upgrading to Win10, And in regards to my prior post, I preformed a FRESH INSTALL, not an UPDATE. My fresh install has been relatively problem free, at least enough for me not to go back to W7. - Jordan Jafferjee - AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D | Asus X670-E Pro Prime | Gigabyte RTX4080 Eagle | 64G G.Skill Trident Z.5 DDR5-6000 | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 | 2x2TB Samsung 990 Pro NVME | NZXT H7 | Win 11 24H2 | TM Warthog Flight Stick + Throttle | Honeycomb Alpha + Bravo | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | Samsung 43" Odyssey Neo G7 | Dell U3415W

January 11, 201610 yr I've got the November version (10.0.10586) , guess you'd call it the equivalent of SP1. Works great but I did initially try the "upgrade" path with the release version and had unresolvable issues with a couple of addons (EFB and one other can't remember) so ended up doing a clean install and no issues since then. I too, am not into fixing things until they break.
