August 22, 20169 yr Well, I purchased the latest schedule pack (2013) and the Power Pack to go with it. UT2 seems to work?My main question is that the Status Board does not match what I see in the sim. The Status board does not match the Flight View Map. Its almost as if there is a time differential between UT2 and the P3d sim. I have tried setting the sim time to exactly match the UT2 date and time and also have set Time zones in UT2 to match the sim. Currently August19 2013.None of the above adjustments makes any difference to what I see in the sim, which is not what the UT2 Status board has on it.I have used the Power Pack with some limited success. But all flights from and to LOWI do not appear in the sim. They do appear in the UT2 Status board however.According to the Status Board, I currently have 5 flights boarding at the ramp at LOWI, the sim shows an empty airport? Anyone seen this behaviour? Regards David
August 22, 20169 yr I never look at the Status Board. I like to be surprised by what I see when I visit each airport  Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
August 22, 20169 yr I never look at the Status Board. I like to be surprised by what I see when I visit each airport  Yes I think that's perhaps the best way! I have all traffic at 100%, yet after several hours running the sim, only half a dozen gates at Aerosoft Zurich and Ftx (native UK) Manchester (EGCC) were occupied? Must be a shortage of Avgas? :-) Over the next few days I will explore more. None of my Power Pack compiled flights show in the sim. Yet they show in the Status Board? Its almost like there is a filter blocking aircraft from appearing in the sim. Regards David.
August 23, 20169 yr Do you have the Daedalus repaints active? These represent the included flightplans that do not have specific repaints in the default version of UT2. I always disabled them, but even major airports can look deserted without them. It is one reason why I decided on a major UK airspace upgrade programme for the software. EGCC Manchester (UK2000 Xtreme version) is very busy on my PC after all of the schedule upgrades that I have made (including adding cargo airlines). On a side note, my current 2016 UT2 UK update programme (an overhaul of my existing database) has increased to 53 flightplans that need to be replaced, and 10 flightplans that need to be deleted. I expect to add at least another 10 flightplans to that figure of "53" before I am ready to start integrating all of them into UT2. A rather monumental task..... August 23, 20169 yr Thanks for the heads up Christopher. I have the Daedalus repaints disabled, so I will turn them back on. I have upgraded to the 2013 schedule version and corresponding Power Pack, so I am not on the base version. The Status Board and printed schedules are a really nice feature, I would like the flights to show up in the sim? I used to use Traffic from Just Flight in my FSX installation and I recall how those flights did not always "spawn" in the sim? Early days yet but the few plans I have put in via Power Pack have not shown up in the sim? I must have something set incorrectly. I think its that % "at or below, parameter"? More trial and error required. It was a rewarding experience to follow Elaine's instructions and get a good install. Cheers, David.
August 23, 20169 yr Move all of the UT2 options to maximum, and see if that makes all of your flightplans (aircraft) appear. Do you have the Weekly (airliner) traffic density set to 100%? Have you installed any required repaints for your new flightplans (this involves assigning the repaints and then saving the assignments)? Yes, weekly airline traffic is 100% also. Yes, I have tried that re paint assign feature, but I am not sure I did it correctly. I will look at that again. I take it that you have to assign repaints to the new flight plans and save them, for them to show up in the sim? I will have a bash at that tomorrow! Thanks Christopher. Regards David.
August 31, 20169 yr Does anyone know why the UT2 Services should suddenly fail to load? UT2 loads and runs fine in P3dv3, its the Services Program that's suddenly failed? I get " Ultimate Traffic 2 has stopped working"With this error.Problem Event Name: CLR20r3Problem Signature 01: ultimatetraffic2.exeProblem Signature 02: 2.10.0.0Problem Signature 03: 52175809Problem Signature 04: System.Windows.FormsProblem Signature 05: 2.0.0.0Problem Signature 06: 54d46ec6Problem Signature 07: 5e87Problem Signature 08: 66Problem Signature 09: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeOS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48Locale ID: 2057 I have the Summer/fall 2013 pack installed. August 31, 20169 yr My problem at the moment is that none of the UT2 aircraft are being injected into P3D! I am trying one or two possible solutions before I start begging at Elaine's door  Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
August 31, 20169 yr EDIT: I made a silly mistake. The repaint assignments are back! Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
September 1, 20169 yr My repaints may be back, but no UT2 AI planes are being injected into P3D. I am not getting any error messages, and I get the "Ultimate Traffic 2 initialised" startup message. I have also checked to make sure that I don't have a "folder within a folder" where the AI models are concerned. I get the feeling that it must be something simple, but I don't know what it is...... September 1, 20169 yr Elaine, You should get paid for the 'above and beyond' effort you put into (trying to) helping us. steve You got THAT right.
September 1, 20169 yr It's working fine I installed the new update and spent about 4 hours updating a few things. whats Djibouti airlines doing in malaga??
September 1, 20169 yr This is driving me nuts. I don't understand why my UT2 AI planes have vanished. Richard (Sennett) mentioned something further back in the thread about having to "route to the fsx cfg and exe files again" after a schedule update. I have used PowerPack over the past couple of weeks to update a huge number of UT2 flightplans. If this is the source of my problem (I am grasping at straws at the moment) then I need to know what to do...... Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
September 1, 20169 yr Author Does anyone know why the UT2 Services should suddenly fail to load? I take it your doing all the Usual stuff, Like running Prepar3D and UT2 as administrator Adding exceptions to your Anti virus Software and so on ============= How do you have your UT2Settings.cfg set up in AppData ► Roaming ►Flight One Software ► Ultimate Traffic 2 ............? (1) Are you pointing this Path to an FSX.cfg In AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D V3 ? (2) Or to your Prepar3D.cfg (Same Location) Rename either your Prepar3D.cfg or your FSX.cfg which ever one you are using, If its FSX.cfg, Rename it, Copy and Paste another FSX.cfg and then try. At least this will eliminate an Issue with your Path= settings. When you do this you will have to Readjust this again SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\UT2 Aircraft This is driving me nuts. I would start by trying the steps about, Maybe something really weird has happened with your .cfg. ========= I take it you have Checked and Verified your Simobjects.cfg ? Long shot but hey  Have you checked the the UT2 .bgl file in Prepar3D\Scenery\World\Scenery ? ======== You have been Updating UT2 flights and Timetables ? I don't have UT2 Installed at the moment so i cant check this myself But if there was an Issue with the Aircraft.cfg's ? I will Install UT2 Over the weekend, I would love to know myself what that Issue is as its pretty hard to nail down
