You're most welcome.   When I saw what has happening in my FS9 flight...I wanted to rush over here...and let all you AS16's/P3D.x's in on the fun. I'm reading how well the new AS16 depicts thunderstorms...and wanted to whet the viewer's appetite!  Mission accomplished!  ))  Now , back to all our flights, no matter what sim you're at Myrtle Beach within...(large smile!).

My problem with AS2016 has been finding weather that reflected real conditions close to me, so I jumped on this as a test. Today in the UK, at my location, with a major airport ten miles from my home I got very high scattered cumulus (little balls) when in reality we had large convective cumulus, so my sim environment was very disappointing. Sadly the data AS2016 uses here (in my Southwest part of the UK) is not a reflection on reality. It would be interesting to see how the rest of the UK does?

Just open ASCA and click the Full Dynamic option on the main screen

Keep in mind Gerard does NOT operate with a VC -- allowing him for considerably more performance potential (and hence cloud draw distances).
