October 8, 20169 yr Not that excited, this means is 10.50 with a new UI and ambient occlusion. That would be disappointing indeed! In my opinion, XP11 needs a major overhaul of the weather system. I can't remember seeing anything weather-related in the preview videos, so let's hope they have something in store that they have not yet shown to us...

October 8, 20169 yr This has just been released https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bpSR-AKncQ Thanks for the link! The new lighting and the fog look great, but unfortunately the video confirms my fears that the overall weather system hasn't been changed significantly (look at the clouds at 1:26). I'll buy XP11 anyway just to support LR, but it looks like I won't be getting rid of P3D anytime soon.
October 8, 20169 yr Commercial Member This has just been released https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bpSR-AKncQ Well, the reflections are nice, but the rest looks like XP 10 (which is still great, of course). I just wonder what else will be included. Mario Donick .:. vFlyteAir

October 8, 20169 yr Presentation is over. Quick summary XP 11 out this year, free upgrade for people who buy 10 as of today. Does this include steam users? ASUS Maximus VIII Hero Alpha, Intel Core i7 6700K 4.5GHz, Corsair Vengeance Black LPX 32GB, MSI 5060Ti 16G Ventus 3X, Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD
October 8, 20169 yr Commercial Member No weather improvements, This is probably the biggest disappointment for many users or for people who have thought about using X-Plane. Will at least external weather injectors get more possibilities to influence the weather? Mario Donick .:. vFlyteAir
