Not that excited, this means is 10.50 with a new UI and ambient occlusion.

XP11 is due in November

Oh if this is indeed true that's ... soon. Not yet sure what to think about it.

That would be disappointing indeed! In my opinion, XP11 needs a major overhaul of the weather system. I can't remember seeing anything weather-related in the preview videos, so let's hope they have something in store that they have not yet shown to us...

LOL...how could you possibly know that? Suggest you tune in to the presentation as soon as you can.

Thanks for the link! The new lighting and the fog look great, but unfortunately the video confirms my fears that the overall weather system hasn't been changed significantly (look at the clouds at 1:26). :Hmmmph:

I'll buy XP11 anyway just to support LR, but it looks like I won't be getting rid of P3D anytime soon.

so far PBR has been confirmed, and that means graphics taken to a whole new level. The presentation is still going, the video posted is one of several that will be released showing the many changes to the platform.

No weather improvements,

This is probably the biggest disappointment for many users or for people who have thought about using X-Plane. Will at least external weather injectors get more possibilities to influence the weather?
