April 17, 200620 yr I just read this over at Simflight. It is a posting by my friend Tom Constantine."With a great deal of personal sadness I must inform all his friends, that Leon passed away on the 14th. As one who has known Leon since before his first scenery or aircraft re-paint I took for granted that he would always be around. His passing reminds us that we all are going out through the same gate, so enjoy every moment."Don

April 17, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi all,it makes me very sad to hear this as I've had quite a bit of personal contact with Leon over the last few years. He was always trying to improve on his skills to give us more of his detailed scenery or repaint add-ons.Farewell, Leon, may you have lots of "eye candies" wherever you are ;-)Cheers, Holger

April 17, 200620 yr Hi all, real and virtual PICs.Holger said:>Farewell, Leon, may you have lots of "eye candies"> wherever you are ;-) HO man ! You are so right ! I can say it now: His name is Leon-Louis Lamarche. It his him who "started" me to do sceneries, withmany long telephone conversations, and file exchanges. And after that, Guy Jutras made me go further inthat hobby ! And becasuse of them, I'm still improving. From Jean Morissette, or C-JEAN:Condoleances to family, friends and acquaintance.
April 19, 200620 yr Author My condolences to his close friends and family. I have always enjoyed his sceneries. In fact, the "Quebec Short Hops" are some of the first sceneries I ever downloaded when I stepped into the flight sim world and are still among my favorites. His aircraft repaints are no stranger to my hard drive either. His constant contributions to our hobby will be sorely missed, but his presence will always be felt in the many that populate my virtual world.Respectfully,BradKELP/KBIF http://home.elp.rr.com/bmbanister/BannerSig_BMBanister.jpgAMD Athlon XP 2600, Asus A7V600, 1GB PC3200 DDR, NVidia 128MB GeForce 6800, SB Live
