If using GSX only, you are still using Couatl.

Did I imply otherwise?

Two attempts with the HOIST FP and no CTD for me. Guess I'll try it with ASP4 running to see if that changes anything.

I only have GSX out of all their products and experienced the crash so can’t be anything to do with the airports but rather the GSX itself.

Yeah, Couatl is the scripting engine.  It is installed with any FSDT product.  Like you said, I don't think it is the airports themselves causing the crash, but the scripting engine.  However though, like I said in a previous post, i never had this problem in v3 with the only difference being I had no ORBX products installed in v3 (was using the Flight1 stuff in V3).  So maybe there is a conflict?  Again, this is just a guess.

I have done about 6 westbound pond crossings 3 with HOIST.  One of the HOIST flights had couatl running and crashed, the 2 other HOIST flights were fine.  The other 2 flight plans I tried were flown with waypoints just south of HOIST.  One came in through ELSIR, one from RIKAL, the last, a bit more north through PORGY.  All in the vicinity of HOIST and with couatl not running I had no crash.  In total 6 flights 5 with no couatl all landed.  I am starting one flight now  gonna go thru HOIST again no couatl, results in a bit

Could be a conflict but that would be fairly easy to check. Fly the west-bound HOIST route that you once crashed with couatl running but this time disable everything ORBX-related in your scenery library. See what happens.

Just took off from EDDF with PMDG B77W to KJFK on the HOIST FP with couatl off.  Gonna try what you suggested after I complete this flight.

I don’t personally think your crashes are related to the very specific one being discussed here, though I may very well be wrong.

Ok,

8x to 150 dme HOIST, then 1x, Orbx Vector off, couatl on, just crossed HOIST intersection no crash.

Now all we need is some more people to experiment with this to see if we all get the same results.

Couatl+Vector conflict sounds like a long shot mate, not saying impossible but how can they possibly even interact with one another?

Well I have no idea.  Those we're my findings from the tests. If someone else can answer that for you, great.  What I know is now I can fly the pond westbound without the annoying crash.  If anyone can figure out what the interaction is between the two would be the icing on the cake.  I've run about 10 flights the past 2 days....couatl off Vector on no crash.  Couatl on vector off no crash.  Couatl on vector on crash.  Reason?  No clue.

Weighing back in here, because I just had a crash for the first time in a while.

It occurred to me that I had been Restarting COUATL after every pushback (someone had suggested it once, so I made it practice to do - forgot this time). I wonder if that would have prevented this one?

Here's another one.... PMDG 747

Route: EGLL CPT3F CPT UL9 DIKAS UP4 EVRIN DCT LIMRI/M083F340 DCT 5320N DCT 5430N DCT 5440N DCT 5350N/N0472F340 DCT RIKAL/N0481F360 N436A ALLEX Q822 AJJAY OOSHN5 KBOS

Add-ons used during flight: ORBX Global, Vector, OpenLC NA and EU, Terra Flora, departed from Aerosoft London Heathrow Professional. Active Sky + ASCA + ENVTEX + ENSHADE. I used GSX for the jetway docking as well as the pushback. During my taxi I restarted couatl as it seemed to get me through the flight the last time, but not this one. Another ntdll crash, I was using Navigraph Charts remotely on my tablet, I took a screenshot of everything so you can see where I was at. The sim was at 8x speed during time of crash. I clicked nothing, was just staring at the screen and it happened. Seems I keep getting the crash right there around the Gander Oceanic/Domestic FIR line as you can see on the Navigraph chart.

Navigraph Chart position

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?
