March 6, 20188 yr My wallet still hurts from their holiday sale! I think Vector might be in my future. Dylan Charles "The aircraft G-limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular airplane. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no G-limits."

March 6, 20188 yr I would love to pick up some of the airports like KBZN but I don't want to have to buy those regions as "prerequisite" products. It seems silly to spend money to be able to purchase an additional scenery.

Thats an immersion breaker for me. In fact when I buy FSDT stuff I always back it up with mega scenery earth areas and cities for the approach ZORAN

Thnx Depending on the region and city, you will see a performance hit, but it really depends on your system. I'm still on a 2600k & GTX 970 and at most places I'm in the 20s. I want 30 fps, but I know that I need a better videocard. Too expensive right now. That said, the sim is smooth and beautiful. MSFS

Thnx I have a pretty strong system, and in P3Dv4 the only place I have to make concessions for performance is SoCal, particularly into FSDT's KLAX. I manage it there by turning AI traffic down or off, and I've also found that disabling some of the unused airport bgls (there are hundreds of them) can help as well. LatinVFR's San Diego and Orange County airports are good with some minor modifications. Aerosoft's Anchorage Pro works great in Southern AK without any modification to the scenery or ORBX SAK needed. FSDT Vancouver and T2G Seattle are good with some minor modifications detailed in ORBX's compatibility subforum. Same for Flightbeam's KSFO HD, although overly aggressive AI traffic levels in the dense bay area with or without ORBX or FB scenery can cause a performance hit.
