I’m finding I have to manually delete the “Shaders” folder everytime I shut  down P3D and restart it again after running EF or all my textures turn black and white outside the VC.....   😦

I did....

Apparently it’s a known issue and bug with EF not deleting the shaders folder when being shut down.

Just posting in here more as an FYI to anyone who’s had the same issue.

Hi:

I'm not 100% sure how the new discuss thing at REX works so I'll ask my question here.

When I use automatic mode, the UI still appears in the sim.  So, do I need to do anything?  Will EF still make adjustments even if I don't touch the UI?

Thanks.

if  you want  to  have  the  ui  min   there is  a  option to have  it  done for  you  when  you run ef,  in the option  section on the  bottom right hand  side  turn it  off,  or   you  can simply  click the  min button on the  ui top  right  hand  corner  had  to  see  though, but its  there. yep,  in auto mode  you don't have  to  touch  anything

Thank you.  Just to make sure I'm on the understanding.  Can you please confirm what setting in EF runs the ui for me?

I know on start-up I select auto, is that all I need to change?

Thanks again.

if  you  don't   want  the ui  to  auto  start  when  you start  ef  open up  ef   click  on the  man  first,  than  select option  and  in the bottom  right  hand  side  deselect  the  ui option,    than  change the mode  back  to auto  and  that's  it   no  need  to touch  anything  if  your  using  auto  mode

all you need  to do if  start ef  first   than  your  sim   reverse  order  when  closing  the  sim

This is exactly what I'm doing but the P3D "shaders" folder is never deleted on EF Exit and causing P3D to turn completely Black/White until I manually go in and find and delete the folder and restart P3D.

Very Frustrating!

Deleted it for the eighth time. Something constantly fails. So far, do not like and distracting.

In jurisprudence, there is a principle - you look for the person who benefits.

so what is the verdict for this app

Skip or keep.

I am confused with Rex Texture direct plus Skyforce? Both have clouds - I assume Skyforce is clouds (from Texture Direct plus more) with weather engine and Environment Force is shader program which works automatically with Skyforce

Hi Alex,

Please contact me and we can setup a time perhaps to go through things live on your computer.

For me, it's a keeper. Have no problems or plans to uninstall. Using the automatic mode.

I have used it in manual mode - (when I have time to play around with all the different settings) as well as in automatic mode.  I find that it is not a 'set and forget and oh my gosh what a difference!' kind of app, but taking some time to understand and control / set your preferences in this app's capabilities does indeed result in some gorgeous scenes and colors.  I don't think I've even scratched the surface of what this thing can do....and the water tweaks are really great.  What is cool about all this is that you get to see real-time results while flying.

cheers,
