By bringing MSFS to Win10 and XBOX Microsoft can showcase their technologies (Azure AI, MS Cloud, Bing Satellite Imagery, ...) to the common people like us, and most likely attract some big business contracts this way.

August 13, 20196 yr I would speculate that VR brought them back to the table. Just imagine what a VR sim would do in sales for xbox, something that Sony wont be able to offer.
