Hello Ray, the Devel licenses are only available for Pro and Pro Plus anyway. They are identical if you pay lump sum or recurring. The benefit of a Devel license is, that it lets you install P3D on two computers. Other than that the Devel is just a normal Pro/Plus with a watermark. Must be IMO, since the purpose of the Devel is to be used by developers to make addons for those versions. That wouldn't really work out if the Devel version was functionally different. August 1, 20196 yr Moderator Thanks Oliver. I will check when I attend the next meeting which version they have. Given this is a sensitive subject and probably not related to the OP’s question I’ll leave it there. Ray (Cheshire, England). The maximum you can pre-pay for is 12 months, then you have to pay again. My initial statement with "lump sum" is wrong in that regard, you can't pay once for a Devel and use it forever like with the normal Pro/Plus. You only have the choice between monthly subscription and non-recurring but time-limited payment. Best regards Edited August 1, 20196 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 1, 20196 yr I think it is a good idea that we don't discuss the license terms in this forum. As Jim Young has said the developer's EULA licenses are clear. Period. However, I think we should also prohibit responses that clearly are encouraging that those terms be violated, as someone has earlier in this topic. I kindly reminded of the boundaries but in my view most* of the posts in this thread are compliant as it is discussion about the features and pricing modalities of each licence. In my understanding it is discussion like 'I'm in this situation, should I get Academic or...' that is prohibited. As the OP, my specific question about the watermark has been answered.
