Trying to fly this, but what I have is different.  My display on the right is just a little tiny thing, the middle display is missing the buttons at the bottom which I understand are required in order to control it.  I just redownloaded, have the most recent version.  How can mine be different?

That sounds like an older version, I'm running the (latest version 0.791). I check every morning to see if a new version was posted, and be sure to check to see if it has any instructions to go with it! 😎

I always rename the new folder showing the current version.  example: destroyer121-h-135.971   I do this so I can not get all the different versions mixed up creating confusion what one is actually in my community folder.

I have the most recent version now, but I'm still not clear on configuring the controls.

I, as of yet have not configured mine either, I'm using a Thrustmaster 1600 joy stick and peddles and my Saitek for buttons and axis controls.🙂

For me, the aircraft just sits there, can't make it do anything.

Be SURE the FADEC is on and the two engine buttons are lit. They are at the bottom of the center garmin. If you are seeing two red messages and a/c will not respond, you need to activate those three buttons to get any power.

They are on, but I don't know if I have to map special command / controls.

Well, I just create a new profile for my Bravo quadrant - assigned only 1 axis to THROTTLE AXIS - not throttle 1 or 2, etc.  I disabled all other assignments other than lights, power etc. I disable the landing gear assignment in the quadrant also - this can cause issues and is not needed anyway with the helo.

I start at an airport in a parking space NOT on the runway.

After a.c has loaded cold and dark at the location I turn on all the power switches, also move my throttle axis up and down to get it recognized.

Next I click the FADEC light on the garmin, then click one of the engine buttons next to it, engine will start and spool up, then click second engine, it will start and spin up - wait till the low rpm red warning is off and go fly.

HTH,

Vic

Just a heads up about Saitek / Logitech Pro Flight Pedals should anyone be considering them for a cheap heli flying solution with toe braking - even after dismantling and removing the centre spring and centre detent pin (a popular mod for these), the microprocessor firmware has a pre programmed centre dead zone.

I just bought some and learnt the hard way. I've had to remove the circuit board and use a arduino instead.

I have exactly the same problem and no solution! See this post: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/wasm-err-fatal-file-error-239-ffffff11/379889
I had this problem with WASM!

"On the H135 we had had some users who are unable to fly it due to the WASM error encounted with the FADEC. Unfortunately nothing tried made any difference. Appears to be limited to just a few people."

Has anyone used the high definition offline caching for helo flying? I tried Portsmouth area but it looked worse for some reason.

Keith Sandford.

I am totally amazed at how well I am running this thing with my I7 and 1070 video card!!!!!!!
