Being they are partnered with Milviz, I'm hoping to see the Milviz MD530F in there shortly after, If not at launch. I would also like to see the BA 609 by Wilco (now known as a AW 609) to be added at sometime or be able to add my disc copy.

huey1177.gif Deja vu!

Says who?

I hope not anyway. I don't want any FSX/P3D helicopter makers for the simple fact their flight dynamics were based on what FSX/P3D offered, which was disappointing at best. And there is no certainty of them being able to improve it instead of just selling an old addon with the same features for some quick bucks.

It has been mentioned on here a couple of times.

Can anyone enlighten us?

Let's not add rumors, theories and others as a given fact. It isn't. Nowhere it is mentioned that they are in any kind of partnership with MSFS 🙂

My error, from a reliable source,  they could be in negotiation.

Helicopters and VR. The thing I'm most looking forward to.  It would be great if we had a default r22

Speaking of helicopters I have yet to experience the DodoSim 206.

I was told it was the best physics as far as helicopter simulation.

Certainly the best for FSX. I think the helicopters in DCS are probably the most realistic.

It depends on how much you value fidelity. Whilst there are some areas which are lacking, it’s still the best helicopter model available for FSX. I would never pay what PMDG ask for some of their aircraft but I can understand why some people might.

What is sad is that the Dodosim 206 has been around for a very long time (it was originally made for FS2004) but there is still nothing with a better helicopter flight model available for FSX. Fingers crossed for the new sim.

I have all my hopes in the new sim and I would love to see a well done job from Asobo/Microsoft, time will tell.

I give up in the other sims:

-Prepar3D: has just released a new version of their software and nothing has changed about helicopter's flight dynamics.

-Xplane: well, I tried the B412 from X-Trident and is a beautiful model but It doesn't fly like a real B412.

-DCS: sorry but I am not interested in military helicopters.

Soul, you can use DCS as a civil sim too...

But you're very limited in terms of the World Scenery... A true pitty - so let's hope ASOBO can find some  good partner to help them reach an acceptable rotary flight dynamics.

I'm hoping they will port it to MFS2020

Thank you.
