I just downloaded .83 and took it out for a quick spin. I'm not a fan on its starting procedure, (but's that me) other then that It flew really well. Now off to do more testing. 

After doing some more testing, one of the things I would like to see is a larger RA readout. 🙂

How would you compare the H135 to say, Dodosim's heli? Once there is a heli in msfs actually flying like a heli, I plan to swap in my heli setup and give it a go.

I myself have never flown the Dodosim's heli,  so I cant say. However I have had rides in a Bell Jet Ranger, and the one thing I did not care for was the oscillation from the leading and trailing of the 2 bladed rotor. 🙂 More blades more better.

The H135 isn’t there yet on the physics/aerodynamics level of the Dodosim.

 

 

Thank you.  I wonder what happened to the creators of the dodosim.  They were supposedly on the verge of a 64 bit version for what seemed like forever but never released it.

Not having played heli-sims, ever (except for Gunship in the late 80's), how far has this beauty have to go?

Is it at the level of the default Bell 206 from FSX?

Just tried advanced mode of the updated model and yes it's certainly better than default FSX 206.

Apply too much throttle/collective from the ground and you'll kill yourself quickly into a violent spin.

Default FSX 206 would simply jump you off of the ground without any over torque spin.

 Just tried the latest version and it's getting more and more complex in advanced mode.

Rudder control/ throttle discipline is a must in advanced mode now....🍻

Yes, in advanced mode it is definitely better than the default FSX 206, but nowhere near the flight dynamics of the Dodosim 206 or even HTR-enhanced FSX helicopters. You can tell from the way it handles that it's in reality a plane modified to fly like a helicopter. And this is normal considering that there are no helicopter physics present in the sim currently.

Considering that, the H135 is an amazing accomplishment on its own and our only option currently, that really flies quite well. Lets only hope the upcoming helicopter flight dynamics are at least on par with Dodosim 206 or X-Plane..

Having said that, I always prefer flying in X-Plane 11 when it comes to helicopters, or FSX-SE (DX10) both Dodosim 206 and others with HTR enabled.

I'd love a MSFS mod that added some AI cattle that needed to be mustered into pens. (as humanely as possible)

The first and last minute or so in this vid (yeah - it's a bit hick-white-aussie) must take some skill?  I remember seeing some awesome video of this work back in the 80's but I don't think it's on youtube
