September 25, 20196 yr On the 26th - tomorrow - we're receiving the "Feature Discovery Series" that will unveil some aspects about at least two of the most important aspects in a flight simulation for me - weather and flight dynamics, as well as World. My hope is, sincerely, that FS 2020 ( the name that most ended up calling FLIGHT SIMULATOR ... ) will revolutionize the World of Flight Simulation in the next 10 years or more, just as fs1 did, some 30 yrs ago. I have a strong feel that FS 2020 will open me the door to get away from my present state of simming, where the only sim I really get joy out of playing, and actually turned addictive to me is War Thunder - who would guess ?... Of course it will take it's time to evolve into content that will allow it to provide me with missions, things to actually do appart from playing being an airline pilot, something I completely lost patience to play in front of my desktop. I have a feel I will not get disappointed by FS 2020, and I have a feel that this feel will grow into fact very soon, starting tomorrow 🙂 Hey @Murmur - wake up! C'mon... we're getting there !!! At last !!!! September 25, 20196 yr Actually, tomorrow we´ll have a "preview" of that discovery series", nothing too deep and just a small piece of cake of what we can expect. Probably some different screenshots of the world, cockpit, weather and a few lines about the aerodynamics. It will be next month when they´ll show real deep info about that, starting with the "world". September 25, 20196 yr I'm keen to know if this will be video based or just a blog type of presentation. Either way, it will lift the lid on the stuff everyone wants to know about. We already know the sim will look cool. Screenshots can only do so much. Edited September 25, 20196 yr by ErichB

September 25, 20196 yr I pray for a Change in History instead of a disaster like FSX back in 2006 or Flight back in 2012. Hopefully they have learned from all the mistakes they have done in the past.

Calling fellow simmers to open their mind is not exactly a sign of consideration and is a little aggravating. Also why resisting an unwelcome change should be bad ? I am totally agnostic on the issues (streaming, susbsciption etc) as we know almost nothing (bandwidth requirement, price etc.). . But I don't think that othesr have closed mind because they don't think the way I do. I know of at least two occurences these recent years, where I resisted changes to favorite franchises : Flight and Fall Out 76. September 25, 20196 yr Like others said, tomorrow will be just the preview of the series. They will hold the the good info/videos/pictures for the series itself. I would expect much about it. September 25, 20196 yr The update will most likely be one or two underwhelming bullet points with some sort of wink wink joke at the beginning. And a couple of mind blowing screenshots and/or videos.

September 25, 20196 yr Why would they? You know the schedule. Those longer videos will happen later on starting in october. Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
