There really isn't anything new there either, although the latest post looks great

Highly doubt it’s an official account. Even the account image looks badly photoshopped.

Just someone who wants some likes.

I pray for a Change in History instead of a disaster like FSX back in 2006 or Flight back in 2012.
Hopefully they have learned from all the mistakes they have done in the past.

I dont know if I would call a 13 year old application that people still refuse to leave, and made thousands of dollars for all the addon developers a disaster, I wish it was my failure. Lol

Yes sorry it may be as big of a disaster as FSX sell only 4-8 million copy`s not enough to get third party`s interested, but I will still take gamble and give it a try as I did FSW that got slated on Avsim before it was even launched.

Source?  Stop submitting bogus posts, which you have no fact. FSX was panned from day 1. Easily the worst FS release, which ended the product.

That sounds like sarcasm, but I suspect you're serious.

FSX is still ahead of XPlane. 🙂

I would take a stab at that ball park just under a million on steam alone in 18 months and it was 9 years old then, the boxed version ??? , PMDG , AEROSOFT , JUST FLIGHT and many more were born out of supporting MSFS including Avsim .

The latest number I've seen for the Steam version of FSX was 600,000 and that was in 2016.  According to steaminfo.db FSX:SE has about twice as many users as XPlane.

Edit:  SteamSpy Estimations (Current data):

FSX:SE:   1,000,000 .. 2,000,000 owners

XPlane:    200,000 .. 500,000 owners

You do realize X plane released in 2016 and most simmers by now have gravitated to it. Not FSX.  By now any count of FSX users is Historical, and most would have gone into Control Panel and uninstalled that sucker. Real simmers don't use FSX. Those are grandad simmers still stuck on Windows XP and 60's music. Will you guys get with the program?

Why don't you look at the current data in the post you quoted so you can get an approximate number of the users for each simulator.

Which current data is that?
