This thinking is exactly the reason we should be concerned about what we see in the preview video.

I think it looks more worse than it really is because central park is square shaped and surrounded by high buildings.

I just hope Asobo wants to realistically depict the world at the correct scale and gives no weight to the opinions of people (like you) who are happy with oversized trees.

What's this thing called again, Flight Simulator 2020 or Flight of Fantasy 2020? 

Maybe you'd prefer GTA5, I believe there's aircraft in it you can enjoy...

Neither. Its Microsoft Flight Simulator. It's not Microsoft World Simulator. The only part they must get right is the flight part.

I have GTA5 and love it. However its not a flight simulator and if a tree is 20 feet higher in MFS then it is in real life it will not become "Flight of Fantasy 2020".

 

Let's see how it looks nearer release. They may have taken your comments and the OP comments into consideration considering we have hit double figure pages now

Not 20 feet higher, more like 200 feet higher or more!  Try comparing the screenshots in the OP's post.

Oh boy!  LOL, you've said enough.  Enjoy GTA5.

I appreciate that some of you think that Microsoft/Asobo are creating the second coming of the Messiah with this new flight simulator, but let's not get silly. Maybe they displayed those trees at that size purely for "snow demonstration" purposes, but the fact remains that they need to be reduced in size if we want them to look realistic.

A reflection of which type of news travels furthest and fastest - I didn't know of the existence of this forum until I read a reddit post that talked about a crazy nut arguing with everyone about insignificant and irrelevant details like a google Dr. I rarely register to forums, but some of the posters here are top notch and I wanted some of that reflected glory.

I do hope for your sake that you're not commercially involved in said project. Dropping to the level that you are accusing others of is a sure way of alienating quite a substantial customer base and you'll be in the position where MSFS will HAVE to be a failure rather than you just hoping for it.

Well, they all promised to put me on ignore as they made greater and greater fools of themselves.

I'm personally glad they came back for seconds, for everyones amusement. Take life a little less seriously, not like paying your mortgage depends on any of it.
