I used to be better connected than I am now. For a proper cockpit photoshoot I would need about two hours uninterrupted (preferably with some power to get lit annunciators). Pretty much impossible one would think. Some have been preserved, some waiting to be chopped up, some operative, some Level D sims, some shot by others. I know my pits are 2D but there is something about looking at a pic of the real thing that gives me my immersion factor. My FS Videos

I agree....when you look at your vids long enough...I can feel the immersion...even though I'm just watching it...hehe. Always stunning...and the variety of aircraft you fly....flabbergasting! But the engine inlets look really dark. You compared them to real photos and make any adjustments? I think some of that effect may be post-shot editing on my part (brightness/contrast adjust)...its not that bad in the sim. 🙂 I'll check it though and see if it needs to be tweaked. Assuming the metallic was assigned correctly. I’m assuming the albedo was left with the original 2D texture map which tends to be darker. Try lightening it up a tad. I can play with it tomorrow maybe when I get home. But I’m betting they left a fairly dark silver color on the albedo and it’s not translating right.
