Hi Dave, thanks for the correction. I am sure the FSL is amazing but I am on the AS bus as I think it is good enough for my requirements. January 23, 20206 yr I'm still waiting for someone to list the "current bugs" of the AS A318/19/20/21. 😄 After finally solving my flight plan problems, I fly them regularly, haven't encountered any problems. Also, AS has a generous upgrade policy, if you owned previous versions, unlike some other companies that rip you off by making you buy the addon again. Edited January 23, 20206 yr by Ricardo41

Now, that almost cries for a recommendation of the full FS2Crew versions. Not RAAS, I mean the crew coordination stuff. Again having the Copilot just speak Checklists and flip some switches is only half of the story of crew coordination and reducing workload. Besides that, it's so immersive to answer the checklist items with your own voice and not an artificial "other" Captain sitting on your chair. I don't fly without FS2Crew since quite some time. Once mastered, it can really reduce your workload. I don't have any gear or flaps commands mapped to my controls anymore, that's all done by the Copilot. Or another example : After landing and vacating the runway : Clean up the plane, turn landing lights, runway turnoff lights and strobes off. How do you do that while you steer the plane without stopping ? Well, the FS2Crew Copilot handles all that. And he's occasionally more clever than me. Sometimes I start not from turnaround state, but from cold and dark. "SET DOME LIGHT PLEASE":. The guy (or girl, there's also female Copilots) finds that switch in a dark cockpit much better than me :-)) There are planes out there where you have a higher workaround than in the A320, e.g. the Maddog or Dash-8. Even more recommended to fly wIth FS2Crew Copilot. Mike Edited January 23, 20206 yr by mikealpha 1. A320 home cockpit (FSLabs, Skalarki), P3Dv5 Main PC : I7-12700K, GTX3080Ti 2. FSLabs A3xx, P3Dv5. To me the AS virtual co-pilot functionality is more a disturbance than an enhancement to the immersion. It is a good help for beginners to get started of course (and I guess that is what AS intended it to be). A more sophisticated copilot like the one by FS2Crew is a whole different story and enhances the immersion a lot. Just to complete the picture: Multi Crew Experience also supports both the AS and the FSL Airbuses (and offers a lot more functions than FS2Crew, but that is a different topic).

Even more recommended to fly wIth FS2Crew Copilot. Mike Well, you'll get no arguments from me on that, but there is a perception/understanding issue with this that I help our customers understand now and then. Our Copilot and Checklist are not designed to be a replacement for FS2Crew or MCE. In fact, we have an excellent relationship and provide support to the developers of those products as they are not in competition with our Copilot and Checklist in any way, shape or form. The only purpose of our Copilot and Interactive Checklist is to help someone new to the Airbus learn procedures and flows, and that's it. They work extremely well and are tremendously complimentary so long as the proper purpose/intent is properly understood. As far as I'm concerned, Connected Flight Deck (CFD) far exceeds anything that FS2Crew or MCE offers, there is simply nothing better or more fun that flying Connected Flight Deck. Currently our CFD for our smaller buses is in Open Beta and for the A330 it's in Open Alpha, but major updates are coming out soon for both as well as our moving our CFD server to a better location on the Internet backbone. January 24, 20206 yr Whilst the 330 isn't too bad, I actually quite like it. The connected flight deck on the 330 is completely unusable.
January 26, 20206 yr Out of sheer curiosity I have reinstalled the latest Aerosoft A320 and I have to say it seems to be stable and working rather nicely. I would say it's an excellent buy for people who don't need the complexity of the FS Labs or prefer a lighter FPS experience.
